Calgar and Vitrix Honour Guard Completed!

After finishing Calgar and his Honour Guard before the weekend, I was stuck waiting for my basing supplies to arrive before I took a few completed shots.   All in all, I'm really happy with how things have turned out. Recipe for colours used to date.

Keeping in mind this blog is designed to showcase the TTCombat paints, and my (limited) painting ability with them, here is the recipe I have been using to date.     The main blue armour is as follows:   Throwing Shade Blue and Thinner Medium mixed in a 3:2 ratio for the base layer. Poster Boy Blue and Thinner Medium mixed in a 2:1 ratio for the mid-tone. Vega Blue Grey and Thinner Medium mixed in a 2:1 ratio for the edge highlights.   The "whit

First Post: Let's Go

To showcase what somebody of average ability can do with the upcoming TTCombat Paints, I present my first Ultramarines in their current WIP state.     Yes, they are all in Subassemblies.  I'm also going to be adding my progress once my Leviathan box arrives. I'm going to update my blog with significant progress, rather than in a set schedule.
