Phase 2 - Game 1 (vs Aeldari)

Mission - Purge After Inload

Agendas - Blasphemous Ritual, Search Drop Sites

Each pic will be of the beginning of the battle round for round 1 and 2, end of round for 3/4

 
Round 1
Aeldari move up, Striking Scorpions take an objective while Corsairs move to support. Wraithguard move forward towards Aeldari deployment objective.  No shots/charge on Aeldari turn. Forgotten turn, bikes move to both "bottom" objectives (squad Tellan Searches Drop Site). Xaphan and Chosen squad Urial Advance and Charge into the Scorpions, killing them off. 

 

Round 2
Aeldar drop in a Crimson Hunter and Falcon containing Asuremen and Avengers. Crimson Hunter takes out the Predator, while the Falcon and Dire Avenger squad destroy Cypher and most of the Chosen squad protecting Xaphan. Corsairs shoot and kill off two bikes from squad Rafael. Corsairs charge and kill off the rest of the Chosen and both Dark Disciples, but Xaphan stays alive. In the Forgotten turn both bike squads move to the topmost "bottom" objective (squad Rafael Searches while Tellan Purges). A Rhino containing Sar Ornias and Legionnaires takes the bottom objective, while Chosen Neferus deploys near them. Xaphan survives the attack of the remaining Corsairs and kills them off.

 

Round 3
Aeldari bring in Swooping Hawks on topmost "top" objective, they kill Xaphan. Shining Spears and Shroud Runners move onto the table in the lower section. Crimson Hunter takes out the rhino, killing off one Legionanire in the process. Through shooting/melee the Shining Spears kill off the rest of the Legionnaire squad, but are in turn killed in melee by the Chosen squad Neferus. The Forgotten send in the Raptors to the Search their deployment objective while their Terminator squad Furlac shot the Swooping Hawks out of the sky. Havoc squad Kushiel finally drops the Crimson Hunter after two rounds of shooting, while the two remaining bikes charge the Falcon to tie it up. Squad Neferus Purges the bottom objective.

 
Round 4
To extend the battle to Round 5 (Forgotten were at 8VP), the Aeldari need to kill off squad Neferus to stop it from Purging and kill off one of the bikes to take back the bottom "top" objective. They finally bring up the Guardian squad with Eldrad, but all of their firepower combined with the Falcon shooting fails to fully kill off the Chosen, as one powerfist armed Fallen stands tall. Four terminators drop to Dire Avenger shooting, but the Falcon and the Shroud Runners are destroyed at the end of the battle as the Forgotten are triumphant. 

Short Update

Forgotten win the battle, 12-3 (Forgotten were Defender, went 2nd). 1 SAP gained from Search Drop Sites. 
Chaos Glory points gained 5. New path totals (7/7/7), now Favored in Warfleet. Use Warfleet bonus for free Repair and Rearm on Sar Ornias. Did not use bonus from either Personal Glory or Dark Gods Glory. Gained both secondary bonuses from Personal/Dark God (Xaphan gains a Battle Trait and a Chaos Boon). Did not gain second bonus from Warfleet.

Sar Ornias and Bike squad Tellan gained Battle Scars (both removed via Repair and Rearm)
