Battle Report as follows
Round 1
Fallen 1st turn - With the Fists holed up on their deployment zone (10-man Heavy Intercessor brick with Captain in a building), I chose to blitz the middle and "left" objective, leaving the "right" objective alone. Both Bike squads head to the left objective, and Xaphan/Chosen plus new Legionaries squad Yukasar move up in middle. Shooting is ok, manage to pick off all the Suppressors and a marine from the regular Intercessor/Libby squad, as well as a couple of wounds off of the Repulsor. Stick towards the center of the battlefield because of the Strategic Dominance agenda, Xaphan gets an XP. Both left and middle objectives moved towards enemy deployment.
Fists 1st turn - Shooting galore. Between the Regular and Heavy Intercessors, both the Chosen squad and Legionaries squad severely hurt- Legionaries only have their champion, Chosen plus a single Dark Disciple wiped out from Xaphan's squad. Melee doesn't go well for the Fists though, the regular Intercessors and their Librarian manage to charge the Legionaries Champion but he doesn't go down. Predator is killed by a combination of Repulsor/servo-turret fire.
Round 2
Forgotten 2nd turn - 2nd Legionaries squad in a Rhino, Raptor squad, and 2nd Chosen squad w/Master of Executions show up from Reserves. Raptors Surgical Strike near the Intercessors, while the Yukasar Champion Falls Back and gets out of combat. Shooting from the Rhino, Raptors, and Cypher deplete to Incercessor squad and a charge from Xaphan and the Raptors kills off the rest, with Xaphan taking the skull of the Frozen Fists' Librarian. Havocs take out the servo-turret, are unable to see the Repulsor yet. The bike squads do their thing and plant a bomb for Prime Macro-Ordinance, while Xaphan gets another XP for Strategic Dominance. Both left and middle objectives moved towards the enemy deployment zone, score VP from both.
Fists 2nd turn - Fists terminators Surgical Strike into the center of the board, targeting the Raptors and the characters in the center of the battlefield. Erradicators drop near the bike squads, but fail to kill off the bikers. Fist assault termies take out the Raptor sqaud, but fail to kill off Xaphan. Repulsor wipes out two bikes from squad Tellan and one bike from squad Rafael, but fails to stop Tellan from planting a bomb. Fists score VP from the right objective.
Round 3
Forgotten 3rd turn - Two Forgotten terminator squads drop in, one into the middle of the board and one, with the Eligor, into the back of the enemy's Heavy Intercessors. Havocs are taking out by Overwatching Heavy Intercessors while trying to get an angle on the Repulsor. Bikes stay back and again attempt to plant a bomb, with the two-bike squad charging the Erradicators to kill them off. Xaphan charges and takes out the Fists' terminators and their captain, while the Eligor charges the Heavy Intercessors but lacks the punch to do much damage (damn S5 Exalted Weapon!). Sar Ornias and his Chosen take the right objective, so all objectives move towards the enemy deployment and left/middle again score VP. Heavy Intercessors use a strat to get out of combat from the Fallen terminators.
Fists 3rd turn - Aggressors and a Storm Speeder show up from the Imperial reserves. the Storm Speeder killing off a couple of terminators and the Aggressors doing much damage to both the Eligor's terminators and Ornias' Chosen. The Heavy Intercessors shoot down most of the 2nd Legionaries squad and damage the middle terminator squad, while failing to kill Cypher. The Repulsor fails to do much damage this turn, only killing a single terminator from the Eligor's squad. On the charge, the Heavy Intercessor squad manages to finish off the Eligor and his final terminator. No objective is moved this turn.
Round 4
Forgotten 4th turn - Xaphan plants a bomb, while the remaining terminators charge and kill the Repulsor. Ornias leads his remaining two Chosen against the Aggressors and kills off half of the six man squad, losing his companions at the same time. Left and middle objective moved, VP is scored, and per Nachmund Rules this is the last round as the Forgotten have scored 11 VP.
Fists 4th turn - The Fists try to mop up their Agenda, Repel the Foe, by either killing off Sar Ornias/the last Legionaries Champion, or the single remaining terminator from the second wave of reinforcements. The Champion goes down from Storm Speeder fire, while the lone terminator tanks all the remaining Heavy Intercessor fire. The Heavy Intercessors fail a charge and due to lack of CP cannot re-roll, so it all comes down to Sar Ornias' fight with the Aggressors. He hits first, and his upgraded Axe of Dismemberment dices the Gravis-armored Imperials into chutney.
Game ends.
Thoughts -
This mission played to my army's style. It was fast, required you to maneuver, and didn't rely on killing power (I've found that while my army is thematically fun and can do ok, they lack multi-damage/high S weapons that really take out T5 foes like Votann/Orks). I was lucky to get Attacker, as Prime Macro-Ordinance is a great Agenda for me because of my multiple small squads/deep strikers being able to do it/hide effectively. If I hadn't been the attacker, I'm unsure what I would have chosen for my second Agenda, there weren't a lot of great options. I still am exposing Xaphan and his Chosen too much/too early and they just aren't super tough, even with his Conversion Field Relic (5+ invuln vs Ranged), especially when the AP of all the shots targeting them was only -1. Still, it was a good win and I'm happy of how I played, even if I think I was more lucky than not sometimes.
