The Enochian Guard is an elite formation of Orisons* in the Exorcists Chapter. Making up the Veterans of the Chapter's 1st Company, they typically are equipped with Terminator Armour. The Guard is named after Enoch Trismegistus, the Exorcists very first Chapter Master. The Enochian Guard pride themselves on being Daemon slayers, and membership to its numbers carries a requirement of having slain a manifested Daemon in single combat.

So I keep running the idea of running Exorcists as my Crusade list for a upcoming Crusade Series for My gaming club Metal Head Armory.  I am really tempted as running the 1st Company Task Force , the Enochian Guard, and my other option would be the Vanguard 10th Company "Hexbreakers" which I will talk about in another Exorcist related post.

Why the Exorcists Enochian Guard?  I love Terminators and scouts. I am working on having 6 10 man Grey Knight Brotherhood Terminator squads (I am  when the new ones come out).  So having a regular Space Marine army built around Terminators is something I would do.  I would love to have a Deathwing ( Mine would be Angels of Vengeance not Dark Angels), Blood Angels, or even Ultramarines all Terminator army, but that is not my style and I really don't want a founding army. With Phobos armor being my favorite of the Mk X armor series, the Chapter I would choose had to make use of both. Rules out Crimson Fists as I feel they are still lacking Terminator armor due the Devastation of Rynn's World, Raptors Chapter again terminator armor not so stealthy, Black Templars, not so much, cause Crusader Squads. So down to the Exorcists.
