Hi Folks,

I have reached completion of the assembly. After completing the Tactical rocks, cutting through heads and glueing everything in place, I can say that I have added a third VoidReaver squad to my Crafworlders.

This squad is going to be a shooty, once again. I fixed myself as criterias to be met the following:

-          Get 10 members to align Shredder and Blaster

-          Find a way to add the Shuri Cannon left from The KT Corsair kit

-          Use Carabines and grenade arm from the Scrourges

-          Use the flacon from the KT Corsair kit

-          Cherry on the cupcake: Get a Leader tending toward the Dark kins more than the Crafworlders.

It is a lot of boxes to be ticked, even if some are easier than others.

Special weapons are easy.

Heavy weapon is eventually more “difficult” as the left arm from the KT set is a single piece shared with the D-Cannon; and I’ve used it already. I had to find something to cut and reuse in the left-over parts from Warp spiders. The Shuri-stuff being more Craftworld than Dark kin in flavor, I set it on an almost unmodified Guardian body; just some spicky antennas from Wraithguard kit.  

The Corsair arm with the falcon ended on a body set on a tactical rock with a dynamic pose, or with enough dynamism, to impulse the idea of movement. The left arm received one of these pikes from the Raider’s crew.

The leader has been another topic. More problematic as I had little idea of what I wanted. I ended with a Guardian body that received a blade from a Mandrake and a Shuriken pistol. I have “decided” not to give him cloak but to go to a Guardian body, a little bit spikyfied (“Decided” is maybe a lack of humility; I had little options left in fact). I initially wanted to keep the cloak for smoothing a little bit the darker character of some Drukhari legs but it appeared to be difficult with the cuts I did. So the trench coat ended on legs of an ooP Guardian and the Leader with a 2022 guardian body.

But while doing this ideation I have also realized that I will have to do something latter out of the 3 left 2022 Guardian bodies. And here, fiat lux, the second cloak and a pair of Wytch legs (on the totemized tactical rock) will be a perfect base for an independent character such as a Troupe Master… I therefore removed one tactical rock from the batch to be replaced by a standard Guardians body.

I am now almost at the end of the road in respect of reusing a max of bitz. I still have left 2 guardians bodies however. These shall be the next and last kitbash opportunity, trying out to go to Characters. Spare parts in the KT box and some of the Yncarne may be usable to do a pair of proxies for Warlocks/Wraith or Far Seers. While the saved model will be the Harlie Troupe Master.
