Hi Folks,

As you might have read in previous installments of this Blog, I am trying to dry out a maximum amount of my bitz. This led me to build 2 full VoidReaver squads out of various spares. While Frankensteining the last squad, I’ve changed my mind in respect of the best use to do with one hybrid Drukhari/HArlie body, and I finally put it apart instead of doing another Reaver's Squad minion. The plan is now to use it as a base for a Troupe Master. My allied Harlequin force already aligns a custom StarWeaver, a Jester, a Troupe and a ShadowSeer.

A Troupe Master might be useful.

On purpose I’ve saved the cloak and the pair of legs from a Venom’s embarked Wytch. I added a spare fusion pistol from the KT Corsair, a gun I wish I could have used in other Kit bashes but that finally did not fit the rules for the other units. This solves that point and make my stuff WYSIWYG compliant. Even if I am not that sticky to the concept, usually.

Blades left from the Harly sprues are right-handed, just as the fusion gun. So even if there are more than enough available, these weapons are not usable in this case. So a blade in its carriage case on the back is a perfect balance (once again KT Corsair kit).

I think some birds may be a nice touch too, I still have some old white metal bits bought from GW Wood Elf catalog range decades ago when you could do it [Insert nostalgic emoticon of old WD back pages catalogs here ]. But I may add them latter, trying yet to avoid the poor effect seen on John Woo’s MI:3 movie and poster.

Result is good enough for me and once painted, might be sufficiently made up to be accepted for what it is supposed to be. Or for what I pretend it is supposed to be.

Paint job time is getting closer now. May be close enough to grab some additional points for CtA25?...
