So when the World Eaters codex landed I was a little mixed about the eightbound. Maybe it was because we were hoping for Red Butcher Terminators, maybe it was because there's was too many teeth on the exalted eightbound's armour. They have grown on me since then. 

They kinda fit in a strange role as the world eater possessed as the specialist assault unit. With regular eightbound being heavy infantry killers and the exalted kin being monster and tank hunters.

I typically run 2x3 man exalted eightbound units and deep strike them in. Kinda like I used to run raptors back in the day. Locking up any problem units that my enemy might bring and hopefully kill the target. I might invest in a third unit, but we will see what 11th edition brings.
