Sky Serpent

An amphibious predator, the sky serpent is the most dangerous creature in the entire Waniku sub sector. As it is able to swim and to fly by using its swim bladder, it is the role model of the Storm Riders' way of waging war.

To become a member of the first Tribe, also known as Koa, a brother of the Storm Riders has to hunt one of these. Because of its very strong poison, able to kill a Space Marine who is not at full health, it is a great feat of strength. If the brother is successful, he is allowed to carry the serpents' hide as a trophy. Many brothers attach the serpents' fang on their weapons as an additional weapon filled with the deadly poison.
