Dr_Ruminahui 10264 Posted April 6 @calgar101 - Feel free! You may have a hard time finding the old vindicator bitz, though, if you are meaning the whole thing rather than just the shield. Quote
calgar101 858 Posted April 7 I did have an old metal Vindicator back in the day, but yeah was more meaning the shield. What thickness card did you use? Quote
Dr_Ruminahui 10264 Posted April 8 @calgar101 - For the external surfaces, the card used to cover the outside of the "skeleton" is .015 (0.4mm) - that's about the thickness of 2 regular sheets of paper put together. The trim is made of 015 x .125 (0.38 x 3.2mm) strips, except for the bottom edge which is .040 x .188 (1.0 x 4.8mm). For the internal skeleton, the curved vertical struts are cut from .06 thick (1.5 mm) sheet and the horizontal cross beams are .08 x .125 (2.0 x 3.2mm) - those can be seen in this photo. Or, at least, that's if everything is in its original packaging and hasn't been switched around in that regard - that said, the numbers seem right. Anyway, hope that helps. calgar101 1 Quote
