Alright, heres the next set of pics of my DIY chapter, St. Damien's Wrath. Now when I started in late november/early december, I first bought the Battle for Macragge with a friend. I don't have pictures of these "first generation" marines, but I do have a picture of the first REAL tac squad I assembled, converted and painted. This squad was done late december '05, and was the second squad of miniatures I've ever painted.

I think you have done a hell of a job for just recently starting the hobby. Pretty good table top quality guys.

I just have a single criticizim. Your Assault Squad Vet Sarge is carrying a power fist, power axe and a combat sheild. IMO you are wasting points, why spend on P-fist and P-weapon. I would just go with the P-weapon and a bolt pistol so you have a bit of shootyness if you need it, I would also buy the squad melta bombs, better for taking on a veical or dread than a single P-fist. Just my two cents.

Hehe, I only field him with a bolt pistol and power fist (and occasionally the shield.) I wanted the OPTION, however, to field him with a power weapon if I wanted. It isnt even physically possible to field him with a pistol, fist AND power weapon.

Any comments on the color scheme? I'm extremely proud of it, and usually its the first thing people comment on...but I've noticed nobody here has said anything about it. Thats a custom green metallic mix for the trim and stuff, and all the gold is a custom brass mix. I think its turned out pretty unique and cool.
