Yes i missed that, heavenfall blade is pretty much an auto include on my talon master. Well i was thinking that i dont need much of heavy w. against tyranids, and against chaos well, whats the biggest vehicle that someone could bring in a 1000point list? And if someone does Rift cannon could work with some luck :D

To be more specific its for my local league. The first 2 players i would play against are chaos/tyranids. I was thinking to run: -Sammael Sableclaw -Talonmaster -Intercessorsx5 -tacticalx5 -tacticalx5 -reiversx5 -reiversx5 -dark talon

Guys what units you think will do great in a 1000point list full competitive. I've tried to make an alpha strike list with inceptors-bikes-talonmaster-Dark talons but its costly. Any ideas?

Well as far as the chapter tactic goes, i'm worried about how it will affect the azrael parking lot strategy since now everything will get the 1s rerolls.I will stick with the azrael bubble combo with 3 predators autocannons for the killshot stratagem. And will also field 2 5man hellblaster squads on buildings since now they can overcharge far from azrael without worrying much. Heavy or rapid fire depends on the position. Dark Talon seems aswell a solid addition, worrying though how the hurricane bolters increase will affect it.

Confused about the terminators. From what i understand the unforgiven rule will be changed or removed. Weapons from the Dark age is superb. Plasma love for everyone. Gotta equip every heavy tactical with plasma cannon now :D

Ofc i take no offence mate. We all want the same thing here ^^. I'm a new player in the 40K scene although an old one in Warhammer Fantasy. I've been watching the forum here for quite some time and decided to jump on the active role. :) Yes i've played in a lot different styles with my DA even pure DW lists since when i started with the 8th. Thing is, i'd like if we had some diversity in the competitive scene rather than playing around the same strategy. And focusing on the shooting will only empower the strategy we already play imo. But still its too soon to jump into conclusions. The hype is real!!! :D

This exactly. Yes i love Azrael, i like the super blob he can create,but in the long run it gets really boring. I do want to move around and "living" the game rather than playing an only shooting phase game. Hopefully the trait will not endorse the shooting phase game or the deathwing will get something different!
