Nope, I disagree completely. If what we had here was a brand new sprue with these three models to compare to the new kits and multipart, then I would agree with you. However, what we have here is a recycled monopose sprue from an older kit repackaged and then sold at a non comparable price. The two kits are not comparable because the kits to compare them to are new and multipart.

To be fair, I have got to agree with you here. Through my local retailer they are priced at $137 ($140 on the GW webstore). The old start collecting kit was $169 (about $199 from GW iirc) from the same place. So that's a massive kick in the proverbial sack, because the SC kit gave you a MoP, x2 Greater Possessed and a 10 man squad on top of the oblits and venomcrawler. I hardly see where the fair deal is here that you should rightly expect from reusing an old SC sprue. This is very disappointing. I am really hoping that this is an interim kit, while they get a 3man box togehter, like the centurians. If not, I don't know, but I doubt I'll stop being disappointed.

This is very disheeartening, means the likelihood of getting them back is pretty 0, sad face all round. -

What to expect from 9e CSM

Don't get me wrong, I'm super excited for the new codex, but the thing that really bugs me the most about the new book, is not even the lack of a jumppack option, though that is annoying! It's the removal of combi weapons from lords and champions, why? This makes no sense whatsoever. there are plenty of places that they can get them from, so why have they been removed? That is seriouosly the most frustrating thing for me. I really hate having to remodel minis that I've spent hours crafting and painting. It was bad enough with my terminators (those retrictions are also mind-bogglingly ridiculous from both a lore and a marketing perspective)! -

Dude!! open it!! show stats! Raptors and warptalons are fine... they don't need new models. As for the bikers - let's be ready for no special weapons rules... outriders don't have them do they? Again, I highly doubt this is going to happen. Like I said in an earlier post, they appear to be the same as their loyalist brethren and they can take specials. Everyone just needs to calm down and wait for the codex. -

Very doubtful that they'll remove the special options in the datasheet, it looks to me like it's a simple repackage and because there were never any specials in the box, they haven't listed them in the pamphlet. Just because they aren't there, doesn't immediately mean that you can't have them. There's no melee weapons on there either, and you can be garunteed that they'll be able to take them, because otherwise no one would buy the kits. -

14" 5T 3W 3A is not outright bad. Good stats for an early objective capper who can cross the table before enemy infantry can advance to the spot. Would need to see the points before writing them off. If they keep the same rules as they have now for arming, those 3 attacks and the additional wound is exactly what was needed to fill the gap in their usefulness in my opinion. Bikers were already a good choice and super useful, with two special weapons in a squad and a CC weapon on each bike, they were already superior to their loyalist cousins. Costing will be interesting though. I'm hoping they're not Outrider prices, given they'll only have 3 wounds. -

Yeah, GW up charges the USA too, but not as bad as you guys. Seems almost cheaper to fly to Japan or Hawaii and buy a few boxes there, then fly home, rather then buying it in New Zealand? I suspect the upcharge is international shipping costs (which is determined by weight) and tariffs rolled into one along with the conversion rate. Because why pay for the costs of international shipping when you can pass it onto your customers? /s That may be so, but not $207 worth, that's a ludicris upcharge. I would consider maybe $50 P&P on this box, that I would find acceptable, not over $200.

EDIT: I was under the impression Guilliman was also considered a Supreme Commander. This is what I get for listening to my friend that plays Ultramarines. It would make sense for Abbadon to be a Supreme Commander Watch this space my dude, with the latest lore shenannigans about Bobby G, I'd say we're gonna see a new statline with 2.0 -

I also play Dark Angels and Chaos and I really do prefer chaos at the moment, I picked up chaos about a year and a half ago. I've been playing for decades and I have never had as much fun in a game as I do with my Alpha Legion and I win fairly consistantly with them as well. -

Sadly enough, this is almost true. Don't get me wrong, I love this product and I thoroughly enjoy this game! I just do not like this pricing practice.

They are coming already. Auspex Tactics has just done a vid about the leaked sheets from the terminators and terminator characters kits. It shouldn't be long now gentlemen adn we should start to see datasheets, that's what I'm looking forward to. -
At least you guys around the world can more readily afford this box. I know 180pds and $300US is a decent chunk of cash, but at least you don't suffer from the ridiculous overcharging that GW does in the southern hemisphere. 180pds works out to about $353 in NZ money, but that's not what they're charging. This boxset is going to cost us $560 from the web store, a difference of $207! Now you tell me, where is the logic and fairness in that? GW's australasian pricing model is totally insane and you guys think you get ripped off hahahahaha.
