I, SquigPile, embark on the 12 Months of Hobby Challenge, and for the month of February pledge to complete a Chaos Lord, a Chaos Champion, and Chaos Sorcerer by month's end. I’m also going to start a plodding along and try to work through some of the Legions Imperialis I have sitting around.

Hello and welcome

I decided to start this thread as a way to keep motivated and share the items I am currently working on. I tend to bounce around a bit, so this will most likely end up a mix of everything. Starting with a Chaos Hellbrute. I decided to try the 12 months of hobby 2025, rolled a few dice to randomly select what I would be working on and ended up with Chaos. Since I still have the Chaos portion of the Dark Vengeance box set I figured the Hellbrute would be fun to start with. Here are a few pics from the past week.

I have ordered from them with no issues a few times.

I have been using an acrylic makeup storage case from Amazon to hold Xacto knives, nippers, files, sandpaper, etc and a makeup brush holder also from Amazon to hold my paint brushes. The makeup case has 4 drawers, each about 5"x8.5". If I need space on the desk I just move the case and holder to a shelf. For my paints I have an alex draw unit from Ikea which slides under the desk.

@Dr_Ruminahui and @Bouargh, thanks for pointing out both the kill team and monthly paint events. They both look like something I would be interested in. I rolled a few dice for my January model and came up with chaos, since I still have the chaos half of the old dark vengeance box in my pile of shame, I’m going to work on the hellbrute for January. I’ll post pics later today in the 12 Months of Hobby thread. Thanks all for the warm welcome.

Hello all. Just joined the forum after lurking for a few weeks. I have been painting Warhammer miniatures on and off for years, just restarted last year after a bit of a hiatus. I mainly paint space marines, dark angels, although I’m thinking of starting a sons of phoenix army. I Decided to join in the hopes of creating a blog to help me paint on a more regular basis, even if just for half an hour a day. Except for blood bowl, I haven’t played a game in more than a few years now. but after watching a few videos on kill team, I’m interested in trying to play a few games at the local store.
