  1. Or perhaps edging the white line on the chainsword in red, to tie it in with the other white elements on the model. Either way, stunning job - very jealous.
  2. Personally, I say paint it red. You've done well with a limited, muted palette so far and I think you should continue it.
  3. Combi-Flamer looking sweet. Is that a custom job? Haven't seen the piece before but maybe that's just me being forgetful. Stripes add a lot to the weapon without cluttering it with detail. As always, cracking job on the overall miniature too. Can see what you mean re: white overkill. Had an idea, how about just doing the 'nostrils' in white. You know the little grooves in the beak you sometimes see on the Raven Guard, perhaps just marking those in white-grey but leaving the overall helmet black? Suppose something of a 'reverse' of the regular white beak with dark grooves. Does that even make sense? Sorry - it's early monday morning and I've only had a single cup of coffee so far. :)
  4. Oh, I know that feeling. Fully expecting my hobby to drop off the face of the planet once Skyrim is released ;)
  5. Welcome back! Just finished up my own Sternguard after a few months out of the hobby - glad to have you back. Can't wait to see how these ones turn out.
  6. Love the command squad, especially the painted dude. Although, try as hard as I might, I just cannot get on board with single Lightning Claws. I just think it looks dumb. Lovely use of Korvydae parts too.
  7. Those lenses look spectacular!
  8. I saw those Mk2 Assault Squad models just a few hours ago. My wallet started crying. Looking forward to seeing what you do with them!
  9. Very nice painting and execution, but the hexagon scheme really isn't to my tastes - sorry. Very well done though.
  10. Congratulations on getting a playable force finished. Only just got there myself so I know what a great feeling it is. Your Rhino interior looks fantastic, very subtle and muted - just like the Raven Guard should be - but still clean and crisp. Grey was a bit of an unorthodox choice, one I haven't seen before, but it really works. Nice touch with the purity seals. As for the painting on the door I would personally do it white arrow with black symbol. While I think the whole white doors would look sweet, it feels a little overt. Depends on how much you want your vehicle to stand out or blend in with your infantry.
  11. These look excellent. Well done! What did you do for the shoulder pad symbols, decals?
