Honesty?? yeah def, delivery of said honesty, I would have to question that, but hell it aint my work,aint my thread ( soz Q) so It aint my problem. Though that said I also learnt some lessons from the feedback. Glad Q is "thickskinned".

Hey Q, dont get disheartened by some of the comments you have received, every one has differant standards and abilities when it comes to constructing and painting their miniatures. You have been c&c'd by some of the best. Yes there are some horrible mould lines, barrels not drilled and the bases still need work, which is something you already know, but your work imho is solid, and would look good on a tabletop. I am a massive fan of Maverik and DV8, who is def one of the best painters I have ever seen, but as pointed out do you want to spend that long on an army. God I wish I could paint like DV8, but even if i could would never be able to spend that much time on my miniatures. Busy life,- family, friends, work and other commitments - my hobby is only a small part of my life. And I just want to get my Wolves on the board, crack open some beers with my buddies and play the game. Listen to what the experts say , learn and apply it on the next model you paint. Move on. Still looking forward to your next batch of models. Still love the look of the army.

I am a grizzled wolf guard charging towards the lines of enemy infantry, my faithful Thunderwolf howls its approval as it smells the stench of the heretic. My Frost axe is gripped tightly ready to cleave through the skulls of my enemy. Their fire crashes into my Storm shield , I am unharmed, Russ is with me.... Though in all probability id be the servitor that scoops the Thunderwolf poop from the hallowed halls of the fang! lol

These are really stunning, love your painting style. Would love a complete run down of how you paint them. Army painter spray to base coat and then whats next? Can see you use washes, but what and how? Looking forward to seeing more painted, will follow post real close. my only critiscm is there's not enough contrast between the models and the bases. The bases with snow look better, but a contrasting base will often make the models stand out better.Really nice models.... awesome.

You have some great ideas there , some of which I may try myself, makes sense to make your own sonic weaponry with the cost of those things. But I have to say some of what your doing looks a little rushed. Wolf Priest Haelaeif gives some good advise, just take your time, you may be gaming with these miniatures a long time. Some of my Space Wolves have been in use on the tabletop for twenty years! Learn to Walk before you run. Free hand insignia! you have to be real good to try that, I still shy away from that after 20 years of painting. Done badly it can ruin a good paint job. Get the basics right, as pointed out by Wolf Priest Haelaeif and use a transfer if you want insignia. There are a lot of tutorials out there, GW produce some good books on the subject, and when you master these techniques try others such as Darksons painting guide, real good book. Also nice to see more painters interested in Slannesh, good choice for chaos,you gotta love the better initiative, look forward to seeing more of your posts, and good luck.
