  1. It's been a long time since I've been to BnC, but coming back and seeing firepower painting again is awesome. Despite the models, you've done an excellent job on the neophytes FP. You should consider writing up a novella for your crusade, too! Keep up the fight!
  2. My Helbrecht has black armor instead of gold, simply because i think it was more appropriate for our High Marshal to represent our livery. I think the extra plating on the armor confers 'artificer' well enough. If you would like to see how he looks in black i can pm you a pic so it won't clutter your crusade pictlog.
  3. Whenever I'm on a losing streak, i just focus on my models. Last night i skipped a trip to my LGS and instead drilled every barrel in my force, and scraped mould lines from my new command squad. Theres more to the 40k thing than gaming, and the hobby aspect has kept me in a good state of mind for my games. Btw, i really like the base on your terminator. The light colors really make the black armor just pop. Good job!
  4. I think that is pretty freakin sweet! Those goggles were exactly as I pictured them! I hope I blow up a lot of tanks for you, I'm honored to be in your crusade!
  5. Those are some mean-looking plasma cannons! All of the little bits and do-dads make each model it's own, you put a lot of zeal into your minis! I am envious of your brush skills. If these chaps make it to the table, (not sure how often you get games in, or if you game at all) be sure to get a shot of them doing the Emperor's work!

  7. Seriously good-looking shield! The whole model is exquisitely done, but that shield made me double-take. I can't wait to see more
  8. Brother, one does not claim 'dibs' on such a thing. This privelege must be won as all other things are won: in bloodsport.
  9. Definately a throwback to the imperial fists with their yellow armor! However I think somewhere in their homegrown codex, it states that they're smurf-successors only breaking away from the ultramarines because they were, well, angry at being reigned in by the Codex Astartes. I would agree it's very templar sentiment, but they play a bit more shooty, their dread gets 4 plasma cannons... a fun codex to read through, quite comedic, yet profane and A LOT OF ALL CAPS QUOTATIONS. Eberious, how goes the modeling?
  10. i saw this when i searched angry marines in google image http://media.desura.com/images/members/1/357/356444/AngryMarine9.jpg thought it was worth sharing.
  11. That is a very grave accusation, Brother. Perhaps Brother Th!rdeye should be commended for his insight into the zeal of our beloved Chapter. (i'm so happy this thread's still front page!)
  12. very nice conversion of the JP Chaplain. where did you get that awesome chainsword bit from? i might use that on my marshal for a counts as Lightning claw!
