    I was at the reveal at Gen Con. After the event, the presenters showed us the physical box set and asked the crowd 'who wants to unwrap it from the plastic?' YKYABTW you not only unwrap the box, but you keep the wrapping as a holy relic.

    How would you kit out a Tartaros squad of five? I have an unassembled squad from Prosporo that I forgot about until now. I was thinking of giving the Sergeant a plasma blaster and adding maybe one or two chainfists.

    According to the original Black Templars codex, "The Black Templars proudly display their Chapter symbol on both shoulder guards, with the colour of the edge trims used to denote their role within the Fighting Company." Personally, I try to keep at least one shoulder guard true to that, but if I want to be creative I'll just do whatever I want with the other one. Gives the models character, y' know?

    When you're playing in a 2v2 game and your teammate has to leave for some unknown reason, and instead of having someone on the other side drop out too, you challenge both of them with only half the total points. I lost terribly, but it's the zeal that counts.

    I never thought to use the Sword Brethren w/ gold... I don't mind if people have fun with the shoulder pads as long as they are kept at least halfway looking like they should, or if they have one 'correct' shoulder. What bugs me the most is when people put regular initiate shoulders on terminators. I'll see an amazingly painted bunch of hammernators, and then i see the black on white cross, and it ruins the model for me. @Acebaur like this?     Today in the hobby, I realised that it is very fun to model Space Marines doing non-space marine things. Like sit on a rock, or do parkour. -edit- the font was really small, and that bugged me.

    I've done that with a GK Purifier w/ falchions once... That, and I added a chainsword to a combi-melta, thus creating the Combi-Melta-Sword (patent pending)
