BATTALION HQ 130 Wolf Lord on thunderwolf (Thunder hammer, mastercrafted relic) warlord : imperium sword, saga of wolfkin 115 Runepriest with jumpack ( force axe, armour of russ relic ) saga of the hunter, smite, nullzone, psychic fortress TROOPS 110 5x intercessors (5xassault bolters, 1xpowerfist) 110 5x intercessors (5xassault bolters, 1xpowerfist) 90 5xgrey hunters (stock) ELITES 200 5xWG terminators (3xcombi plasma/ stormshield, 2x combi plasma/ chainfist) 185 1xRedemptor Dread (twin gatling cannon, storm bolters, icarus) FAST ATTACK 215 4xthunderwolves (4xshields, 1xthunder hammer) 15 1xcyber wolf HEAVY SUPPORT 155 3xeradicators (2xheavy melta rifles,1xmultimelta) 175 5x long fangs (4xmulti melta, 1xherub, morkais teeth on pack leader) TACTIC Longfangs, eradicators and termies go on reserve. Greyhunters and the cyberwolf capture base objectives. Intercessors, runepriest, wolf lord, thunderwolves and dreadnought move to the middle and towards my opponent.
  2. Edit: Updated Long Fangs to include Cherub Getting back into 40k and Space Wolves after being out since 6th Edition. Would appreciate any feedback on my list below (planning to test it out using TTS), especially on the use of the Terrax-Pattern Termite & Sicaran Omega - I'm going off Battlescribe as Games Workshop in USA is perennially out of stock of codexes (super weird in the year 2021 that print books are always out of stock) - as I haven't seen them in many army lists but they look really good for their points to me (not sure if including them is frowned upon in games?). Overview: The list attempts to near guarantee many units get a first shot, start units in midfield to threaten objectives, and tries to avoid too many points in one unit so not afraid to sacrifice anything. My hope is that the opponent has many competing threats to deal with. *Invictor Tactical Warsuit & Incursor Squad starting near a midfield objective and laying Morkai Bolts on priority targets *Long Fangs in Drop Pod for Turn 1-2 alpha strike on priority targets *Arjac + Plasma Terminators deep strike coming in turn 2 *Lukas + Chaplain + Bloodclaws arriving via Termite assault in Turn 2, with +2 charge, re-rolling charge, re-rolling hits, while the Termite itself looks like a monster for dakka & melee that has to be dealt with (e.g. its not just a drop pod that sits there, its a real hard to shift threat and should be able to pop open some transports) *Capt on Bike + Bikers - with Capt's load-out having a potential turn 1 charge *Redemptor & Sicaran offering a long range threat *Cyberwolf sitting back to deny deepstrike / late objective holding *Grey Hunters squad I'm thinking of testing have them hold the home objective, or if including them in the Long Fang Drop pod would help the Long Fangs survive to turn 2. ++ Battalion Detachment 0CP (Imperium - Adeptus Astartes - Space Wolves) [107 PL, 8CP, 1,999pts] ++ + Configuration [12CP] + **Chapter Selection**: Space Wolves Battle Size [12CP]: 3. I've been recently running this in my local meta and I have only really run into marine lists for the most part. I wanted to open this list to the general knowledge of the Rout and how you feel it would perform against other types of army lists. The main idea is flood the board and keep control of it. Hide as much as possible Turn 1 and 2 then pounce Turn 3. The Cyberwolves are there to be annoying little buggers and grab cheap engage or objective holding. The drop pod comes down when I feel like it will get the most bang for the buck before everything there dies. I have recently swapped to the Great Wolf Claw on my dreads for the reliable damage against Transhuman opponents with 3 wounds. Feel free to ask any questions about what certain things are doing for the list to help give feedback. Note, the Terminators and TWC are based on my current collection as even though I am playing TTS I want to run what I have. I also have a Primaris list I'll be posting soonish.
  4. Patrol HQ Wolf Lord on wolf (thunder hammer/armour of russ) warlord :rites of battle/imperium sword TROOPS 5xgreyhunters (no upgrades) FAST ATTACK 4xthunderwolves (4xstorm shields, 1x thunder hammer) 2xcyberwolves as a unit ELITES 1xRedemptor (macroplasma, onslaught, storm bolters) 5xWG terminators (3xcombiplasma/storm shield, 2xcombiplasma/chain fist) HEAVY SUPPORT 5xlongfangs (3xmultimelta,herub) Tactics Wolflord with thunderwolves and Dreadnought move forward. Greyhunters and cyber wolves cover base objectives. Longfangs use strat for outflank and arrive with terminators turn 2 as support to my moving force 1000pts on the nose
  5. This list evolved from the Sons of Fenris list I removed a bike captain and replaced him with a librarian to gain access to null zone While fiddling with points I was able to upgrade a wulfen dread to murderfang as well The murderfang sling shot has been very effective in testing It only works so well b/c the company veteran bodyguard rule lets me move much closer to danger and stand in the open without fear of being shot The rule needs changing but I will enjoy it while it lasts Murderfang as a counter assault unit to wipe someone off an objective has been loads of fun In a test game this morning he wiped out a plasma redemptor + 2 separate units of 5 assault intercessors and a handful of sanguinary guard as he waddled from my DZ to the enemy DZ over the course of the game I have also shifted from melta attack bikes to land speeder storms -vehicle...so they protect nearby characters -fly...so I can hide out of LOS and move to get exactly where I need -stratagem to deny overwatch if within 6" (I swapped out whirlwinds for 2 of these LS storm units basically) I lose out on killing power but the mobility and tactical flexibility have been making up for it so far. Today the mobility and 36" range and 6 HB shots saved my ass. Plan A was long fang multi meltas to kill his exposed primaris chaplain on a bike with no look out sir protection or CP for transhuman. I rolled 1-1-1-2-2-5-5-6 for hits then 1-3-3 for wounds and he made both 4++ saves. Luckily for me the LS storms I had zipped over to his DZ and intended to kill his objective holders with were able to fire still and picked off the primaris librarian standing next to the chaplain. Originally the plan was shoot chaplain to death and charge librarian but RNG flipped the script. Ended up charging his chaplain with my chaplain and my librarian...exploding hits and reroll all hits from the chaplain saved the day. List This unit has officially been entered in a pod. If I remember I will try to batrep it when games start up
  6. Good evening! I'm currently planning my first 9th edition game with a friend on Tabletop Simulator and would really appreciate help on building a 500 pts Space Wolf list for him. He has never played Warhammer (any variant) before, and he thinks they look quite cool. I've been a casual necron player for a few editions and don't know the first thing about space marines (I have never even played against them; only xenos and SoB). I also haven't played since the release of our new codex thus I'm quite rusty overall. We'll play using the free core rules and the data we can get from BattleScribe (thus no terrain rules, objectives, etc.). I'll play a randomly generated 500 pts patrol detachment (which I coded in Python, in case anyone's interested), and I'd like him to have a good beginner friendly patrol of space wolves. Would anyone be kind enough to propose a list we could use, or give me some pointers to do it relatively easily? He did mention jetpacks, dunno if that's part of SW's fast attack options… Thanks!

Long Fang: Missile launcher . Long Fang: Missile launcher . Long Fang: Missile launcher . Long Fang Pack Leader: Astartes Chainsword . . Boltgun and Bolt Pistol ++ Total: [98 PL, 11CP, 2,000pts] ++ Created with BattleScribe I have yet to lose a game with this list. You have 4 squads of intercessors for obj secured needs. You have LF with missile launchers to take out either high toughness or hordes. In a pinch they can also be used to take out tough 5 3 wound grav primaris troops or Death Guard troops. The TWC with the Chapter Master on TWC running with them is the distraction carnifex supreme. Your opponent will have to worry about the them being in his front lines quickly in the game. Your Dreads follow behind mowing things down as opportunity presents itself. You keep the terminators in deep strike to deploy at a spot where you need them. The Librarian is there to help shut down enemy psykers (hence the relic) as well give you some support. Ragnar is, well, RAGNAR so that's a literal beat stick in the army. Essentially this list provides so much target saturation that your 4 squads of Intercessors can quietly squat on objectives while your opponent has to deal with all this threat right in their face and also with the shooting. I have gone first and second and won with this list. Hope it helps others. For Russ and the All Father!
