This is a WIP shot of Kill Team von Rusdorf, my counts-as Kill Team Cassius. I used the Overkill models plus a set of the new multipart Deathwatch. It'll be a mix of alternate and successor chapters in place of each of the members of Kill team Cassius, with only the Salamander, White Scar and Space Wolf models left un-altered (I couldn't see a way to change their chapter without removing all the interest from the models). This seems to help the painting somehow. First model is Chaplain von Rusdorf of the Abjurers chapter, my homebrew Imperial Fists successors. The Abjurers are a crusading chapter: no chapter hates xenos more than the Abjurers, and none of the Abjurers hates xenos more than Chaplain von Rusdorf. Wearing his supremely crafted set of Mk IV armour as a reminder of the original mission of the Astartes, von Rusdorf considers it a personal affront that any alien races continue to exist 10 000 years after the Emperor declared His Great Crusade.
