Welcome to the Liber forum. This forum exists to provide members of the community with a place to discuss various aspects of developing fan-made organizations (e.g., Chapters of the Adeptus Astartes, Heretic Astartes warbands, Ordos of the Inquisition, regiments of the Astra Militarum, etc.), locations (e.g., planets of the Imperium, Aeldari craftworlds, etc.), etc. within the Warhammer 40,000 setting. Members of the community are encouraged to use this forum as a place to solicit and provide constructive feedback and recommendations in the development of DIYs. Very important advice can be found here. This forum works hand-in-hand with several other forums and features that are available here at the Bolter & Chainsword: Blogs are the preferred place for members to cover all of their work on a DIY project, including the development that this forum focuses on as well as the other aspects of a DIY that are covered in the forums/features listed below. When you work on your DIY in your blog, it is perfectly acceptable to also post a topic/comment in this forum or any of the forums listed below, either repeating the blog post in its entirety or providing a summary of the post and then linking to that blog post in your discussion forum topic/comment. The Forge and its sub-forums are a great place to post images of your DIY models. Naturally, we recommend that you upload any images of your DIY models to your free albums in the Gallery feature (and you can always use those images to embellish your blog posts, discussion posts, articles, and download files). The Homegrown Rules forum is a great place to post any homegrown rules you may be developing for your DIY. The Fan Fiction forum is a great place to post any fiction you may be developing for your DIY. When you decide that the work on your DIY is completed and you are ready to present the finished product to the rest of the community, you are invited to use the Articles and Downloads features. The Articles feature allows you to present your article in a digital format that can be read on the screen whereas the Downloads feature allows you to upload a file that other members of the community can download and print. Both features have a category - the Articles feature has the DIY category and the Downloads feature has the Background (Lore) category. Submitting your DIY content to these features/categories automatically creates an announcement topic in this forum that links to the article/file. Naturally, you are also encouraged to post your finished product at your blog.

Attn Deathwatch Fortresses: WarComm "The good news is that you absolutely can field a whole army of Deathwatch Space Marines. You’ll require a copy of Codex: Space Marines, and can use any of the Detachments picking Deathwatch units through the Assigned Agents army rule found in the new Codex. This retains the thematic flavour of the Deathwatch with versatile veterans and airborne transports, while also granting access to the rest of the Space Marine armoury. The Ordo Xenos and regular Space Marines can make use of the Deathwatch Legends datasheets in narrative games too. These include Kill Team Cassius and several highly adaptable Kill Team variants which mix and match a wide range of Space Marine units. These datasheets have the Deathwatch keyword – exactly like those in Codex: Imperial Agents – so they get full use out of the Ordo Xenos Detachment."

There are lots of useful topics about the Deathwatch scattered across the Bolter & Chainsword website. While most will occur in this forum and in the Deathwatch army lists sub-forum, other related topics are bound to spring up elsewhere, especially in the Forge forums. In addition, plenty of external websites will include content that is useful for fans of the Deathwatch, including blog posts, videos, etc. Since we can't pin every useful topic, this topic is intended to provide a handy resource for players of the Deathwatch. If you know of a topic, external site, or video that you would like to see added to this resource listing, please reply with a link to that topic, external site, or video. If the moderators agree that the submission is both relevant and useful, it will be added to the listing. If you see a link that you think is no longer relevant or which is broken, please post a reply notifying the moderators of the issue. We'll do our best to keep this resource listing updated, fixing broken links and removing those that are no longer relevant.
