Heru Posted February 17, 2007 Share Posted February 17, 2007 This is my Chapter Master for my Black Falcons Chapter, who is also my namesake gamewise. He's made from a combination of kits namely the plastic Terminator boxset (Storm Bolter and Armour), the Terminator Assault Squad boxset (Lightning Claw), and a helmet from the Black Templar upgrade sprue. The Lightning Claw gamewise is the only master-crafted item that the Black Falcons have called the Falcon's Talon (Master-crafted Lightning Claw)* it'll be painted gold and silver to represent the fact it isn't just any old Lightning Claw. The only observastions I have are that being a chapter master should he have more decoration or possibly a backbanner? Apart from a backbanner and a dynamic base I don't really know what else I could add to the model without making it look cluttered. Also I would give the model another once-over before painting as I see a few mold lines still (mainly on the power cables). ;) You see I never see these other mold lines until I take I high quality picture of a base coated/painted model... better get the craft knife out... Except for a few rare exceptions, PA helmets always look a little weird just stuck on a temi body. You should cange it a little, at least, if only because it's your chapter master.
