MarshalHelva
i just recently finished 3 new HQ units for my Black Templar army. The first is my Marshal and his command squad http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u14/DavHod42/40k%20pictures/DSC00929.jpg My Emperors Champion http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u14/DavHod42/40k%20pictures/DSC00925.jpg and Grimaldus (which i run as a generic chaplain) http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u14/DavHod42/40k%20pictures/DSC00924.jpg any critiques and criticisms are always welcome as im always striving to improve my techniques. Ganuus
Looks very good to me. Who's body is that for the Emp's Champ?
Mulceber
That would be one of the new Dark Angels robed running torsoes. Looks very good, I'm planning to do an Inquisitor based around that body as well... I guess what I like most about the army so far is that you didn't go for any of the old, stereotypical models. You did something new and interesting. Good Job!
aNex88
Good job. I like the red robes you have. Digging your Emperor's Champ as well. Pose looks quite commanding. I'd like to see some close ups of your Marshal if possible.

MarshalHelva
The EC is made almost completely from the new Dark Angels sprue (swords and shoulder pads are not) here are a few more images of him from different angles http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u14/DavHod42/40k%20pictures/ECside2copy.jpg http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u14/DavHod42/40k%20pictures/ECback.jpg http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u14/DavHod42/40k%20pictures/ECside.jpg aNexx88- here are a few close ups of my Marshal http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u14/DavHod42/40k%20pictures/marshalfront.jpg http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u14/DavHod42/40k%20pictures/marshalback.jpg sorry about the blurriness of the photos, i only have access to a small 4MP camera at the moment so its the best i can do

AlteriusMotive
Nice, but I don't get it. Doesn't the doctrine say that the command squad should have white shoulder pads and the sergeant have the blaked out pads with red??? Either way I like the use of the new DA veteran sprue. I was thinking of using it fr some custom Sword Bretheren. Well thats something for you to think on.
MarshalHelva
the guys in the command squad are all sword brethren, they can all take the same veteran skills as the sword brethren squad can and the command squad comes from the marshals household which is made up of sword brethren or thats the way i always read it. lotsa_terminators
yup, the squad Sergeant is like...a senior SB, he's higher up, but just for the purposes of the command squad. He might be a Castellan or the like, who's come to aid the Marshal
Moribund the Burgermeister
Sweet holy child of punk rock music! ^_^ Incredible banner! I'd love to have something similiar for my battle standard bearer in my LatD! Awesome! :D Cheers!

L0NEW0LF
very very nice indeed! i can only add to what has been said that that banner is outstanding!
Morte
If that banner is freehand, then it's probably one of the best freehand BT banners I've ever seen, especially for a tabletop army. Something tells me it's a print, but if it is indeed freehand, you have my awe and respect! Your Grimaldus model is great too, lots of depth, looks like he's stepped off the pages of a comic book with those colors. Marshall could use some work though, kneepad looks sloppy. Your command squad is extremely well done, however.
