I would much rather see The Emperor himself be painted. :unsure: You're models are amazing. I think not that their heads are too small. I saw a picture of a chaos space marine on Warseer on a poster for UKGD and his head was real tiny. Also, looking at Capt. Uriel Ventris' head on the cover of "Dead Sky, Black Sun" his head is not quiet proportionate to his entire body. So basing from that I disagree saying their heads are tiny. They look just right to me. seriously though... when i saw the first group shot, all red and gold, did anyone else expect the lead guy to be modeled putting his boot in someone's chest and screaming? The markings are half a meter apart. I assume the imp to be 1.80M (6 feet ?) tall. That would mean the Custodes to be about 2.50M (about 8 feet ?). Imho thats perfect sizing. IMO, it would have been cooler to see the Custodes Terminators first.... a leadup to the Emperor. I would say either an Imperial Aquila or (i don't own the books.. sigh) some really awsome symbol you dig up out of theHH books. Like his personal heraldry or something. Speaking of which, what rules will you use to represent him? Overall, I really like your work. These are the kind of guys who stare you down and go, "what?!?" Bah. A lascannon wouldn't even scratch the armour of His Holiness. For the sake of balance however, say the lascannon sorted out the servos. He's not dead yet! And these are looking absolutly brilliant. And that is insulting them. Words cannot quite describe the sheer awesomeness of them. Keep it up! P.S. The proportions look fine!
