Megalodon
Thanks Wiplash, I'll get a group shot soon. Here's what I've been up to. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/EasyEight/40K/Oblit.jpg I've been wanting to do this for a while now and with The Dark Apostles tutorial in the Librarium, I just had to make it hapen. kikkala
Nice obliterator you've got there ;). Green stuffing is great. But I have no idea what weapon he has in his right arm? Megalodon
Nice obliterator you've got there :(. Green stuffing is great. But I have no idea what weapon he has in his right arm? Thanks dude! The Right arms central weapon is the front end of a 1st edition SM plasma cannon. Megalodon
Quick update. I've decided to use old style Rhinos for my Chaos. I'll be scratch building some upscaled ones shortly. For now I'll be using the original old Rhinos. Here is the first one. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/EasyEight/40K/rhino.jpg I should have an update on the Oblit tonight. Megalodon
Thanks bud! Here's the start of Squad Sokar http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/EasyEight/40K/csm.jpg This is the basecoat of Bronze. I'll be doing some green washes and highlighting tonight. Megalodon
I've slightly changed the way I'm doing the Bronze. It's easier to paint now and still gives a more gritty effect. Here's the Plasma gunner he's still WIP. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/EasyEight/40K/csm001.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/112896-soul-reapers-chaos-marines/page/6/#findComment-1806071 Share on other sites
Megalodon
Here's and update on the plasma gunner. I'm torn between Purple or Green coils on the Pgun. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/EasyEight/40K/csm002.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/112896-soul-reapers-chaos-marines/page/6/#findComment-1806751 Share on other sites

RazakelXIII
These are great, Megalodon. <_< Been watching this thread for a while, always impressive. I still love that Daemon Prince. :eek New squad looks awesome. I vote green on the plasmagun. Should look better next to the red, and since your models have a bit of a greenish tint to them it'll help tie it together. The Mad Hermit
Here's and update on the plasma gunner. I'm torn between Purple or Green coils on the Pgun. I'd do green. But then, I'm not sure if my opinion is worth anything. Megalodon
Thanks for the comments! The Pgunner is done minus the shoulder insignia and the basing. I tried the Purple plasma coil and really hated it. So I went with the old reliable green coils. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/EasyEight/40K/csm003.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/EasyEight/40K/csm004.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/EasyEight/40K/csm005.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/EasyEight/40K/csm006.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/112896-soul-reapers-chaos-marines/page/6/#findComment-1807866 Share on other sites

Megalodon
Thanks for the comments guys! Will the knife handle remain uncoloured? Good catch, I completely missed that; thanks! Asmodeus' Swordhand
Do you use plasticard rod for the rivets? I find that way is easiest. Megalodon
Do you use plasticard rod for the rivets? I find that way is easiest. Yeah, I use rod. I cut, then mount 'em followed by filing to a semi-regular hight. It's still tedius, but it does look kool! Asmodeus' Swordhand
aye, I usually use a thinner rod than you do though [for sculpting nurgle, you just cut a thin length, then stick it into the uncured green stuff looks like nailed flesh] Anyways, nice work!
