Ryno
It's looking fantastic thus far Dominus! I've really only seen Warhound's Titans on the Forge World site as well (that Jackal pattern one is just orgasmic!) so this is very exciting indeed. Now, I'm here to ask for what we all want to see. Pics.... of the beard. Don't hold out on us! :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/113773-the-dominus-ex-machina/page/4/#findComment-1340263 Share on other sites
Dominus Ex Machina
Thanks for your replies. Freak Forge still haven't recieved the parts... The foot is done, judging from the pictures it may not seem to be a big difference since the last update but in real life it surely is! http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h153/SupremeGrandMaster/Mars%20Pattern%20Warhound%20Titan/Leftfoot.jpg http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h153/SupremeGrandMaster/Mars%20Pattern%20Warhound%20Titan/Leftfoot1.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/113773-the-dominus-ex-machina/page/4/#findComment-1342634 Share on other sites

FreakForge
I said it before, but I have to said it again : Lovely green Dominus !! Well ,and now ( until the Titan´s pieces come to me ) some progress on the sketches. The first techpriest looks like a "warrior techpriest" , instead a " Technical techpriest" . So , I decide to make a couple of options with a more Titan´s technical crew look. ( sorry about the poor quality of the pics , but I´m not at home at this moment ... and I didn´t have any pic´s editor programm at this computer). http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i305/FreakForge/DeathGuard/commission%20work/techpriest2.jpg http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i305/FreakForge/DeathGuard/commission%20work/techpriest3.jpg C&C are welcome. Dominus Ex Machina
I really love your artwork Freak Forge, I think the guy with the goggles and the monk hair-cut is my favourite but it's a close call! Anyway, I too has made some more progress (so we have a dual update ): http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h153/SupremeGrandMaster/Mars%20Pattern%20Warhound%20Titan/Titanfeet.jpg http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h153/SupremeGrandMaster/Mars%20Pattern%20Warhound%20Titan/Titanfeet1.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/113773-the-dominus-ex-machina/page/4/#findComment-1343324 Share on other sites

Dominus Ex Machina
I've finished building the legs! Only things missing now are the armour plates that Freak Forge (hopefully) will be doing, and some pistons to connect it to the painted foot, it's not attached to that foot yet since I don't want to spray the foot black with the rest of the legs. Links (because of picture size). Posting pictures that include non-power armoured troopers might be concidered a crime on this site but the Death Korps of Krieg are for size comparison purposes Front view Side view Large legs, large pictures, if anyone has a painfully slow internet connection tell me and I'll put up some small pictures for you. Dominus Ex Machina
My head is in serious risk of bursting... from joy, THE TITAN PATS HAVE ARRIVED TO FREAK FORGE, here's the proof, I just recieved this picture by e-mail: http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h153/SupremeGrandMaster/Mars%20Pattern%20Warhound%20Titan/TitanVIII.jpg Yes it looks battered but apparently all the pieces are unharmed. *does happy dance* I swear to you though, that was a perfectly rectangular box when I last saw it :): Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/113773-the-dominus-ex-machina/page/4/#findComment-1358662 Share on other sites
khalaek
Yes it looks battered but apparently all the pieces are unharmed. *does happy dance* I swear to you though, that was a perfectly rectangular box when I last saw it :pinch:: ummm... do i hear "new mail carrier?" :D but i guess as long as the parts are okay the condition of the box doesn't matter. but then... what will freak send them back in? The_Chaplain
Dear sweet emperor! What did the mail carriers do to that poor harmless box? have a freaking manatee lounge on it!?! Eagerly awaiting the new pics, glad to hear the parts are safe. Brother apocalyptic
that looks so wicked.. Shame its so big, and prolly expensive so that I cant buy one ^_^ But then i would prolly just cover it in a messy paintjob, not worthy of the astartes. Really cool model and Im eagerly awaiting new pics. But now, off to buy some stuff for the wicked aliens, that are known only as.... cats. Shadow Nugz
Hey if I were you, I would drive to Freak Forge (if you can) and take a nice road trip. Stay up there for a few days or something. To me this is screaming: ROAD TRIP! ROAD TRIP! Good job on the titan anyway. The green gives it an earthly-unearthly majesty. Beautiful. BLARGAG!!!
i would have to agree w everyone else on the paint scheme. that green is awesome. i'm starting to scratch my own titan (as i have no $ for 1 from FW like you seem to). anyway, do you mind if i "take some inspiration" from ur paint scheme? could you do a tutorial on how u did that green? it would be much appreciated! warhound
HAHAHAHAHA....haha ha... That box makes me laugh! Picture this though.. The Warp runners Titan I sent up to forgeworld AFTER I had painted it and the box looked worse than that- they took 1 week to piece it back together! I still feel the sting from that- hence I drive the pieces up myself now! Bring on the forge!!! NemFX
Titan soccer? "It's a titan, it can take it.." But seriously, that should be neat. I started making my own titan out of lego, but I came up with a way to make one for cheap out of pvc pipes, so I'll start work on that tomorrow if I can remember to. You should see my titan pilot. Space marine jacked into the thing similar to the matrix, pulling off an emperor from star wars type pose. .. Originally I was gonna make him look like a geek, so we'll see what happens when I'm finished with him. BOBMAKENZIE
I refer back to my first post in this thread <_< The transport vehicle looks battered and damaged! The foul xenos must have attempted to destroy the mighty titan on its way to the construction yard! Yet again they have struck, in an attempt to destroy the titan!
