Large and Moving Torb
Bikers don't have the extra attack in the profile like before, but they are equiped with pistol and ccw, and so by BGB, they have two attacks. But their special weapons now change out the pistol, not the bike gun, so you loose an attack on those models. Actually, IIRC, you change out the CC weapon for the special guns. Take another look at your 'dex. Stinks as it limits the range of your plasma gun on the move - giving one more reason not to take them on bikes. Oh well, not the worst de-conversion I've had to do on my army thanks to the new codex. And yes, there is no longer a retinue option for the HQ. Also, no more two-wound options, which means no more HQs for your combat patrol games. Really stinks if you like doing a campaign series with escalating points. Warsmith Hyun
I've seen the codex and I'm actually not terribly upset by it. Not as I thought I was. I just got done making an Alpha Legion army with tons of converted cultists. So I was upset about that. Yeah, I was the same way, seeing the codex completely changed my point of view. And, you can still use the cool cultist conversions - count them as lesser daemons! You could even say that they aren't summoned, they are just lying in ambush, waiting for their masters to give the word - and the invulnerable save is due to their madness/drug use/whatever. LOL wow you had the same thought I did. I am going to try using them as lesser demons, and see. It's a bit cheesy and stretching it, but like you, I justified it by saying they were a sleeper cell of militia waiting near by to jump out when given the signal. Not sure about the save, but hey, I'm not the one that removed them from the codex. ^_^ Mine are actually modeled up like normal humans with pistols and CCW. I used the WHF Militiamen models with some 40k laspistols converted. But it could still work I spose.
Galahad911
Can you target an enemy unit that is in CC with a Lash of Submission?
Cale
No. Even if you could, you can't move victims within one inch of enemy models. So, anyone in base-to-base contact with an enemy model (or within an inch) couldn't be moved at all--meaning that you couldn't pull the squad out of combat, anyway.
