space wolf tat

Recommended Posts

I personally would be more likely to get something more general to the average person, but clearly Space Wolves to others. If anything i think id get the 13th Company, Wolf in front of a crescent moon. I used to have a t shirt that i made in screen printing with that on it that i would wear to Con's and tournaments. Wonder where that shirt ended up..
nice tat, though I also agree with the color bit.

just remember, you have to play space wolves forever now.

where does one find a wolf tooth necklace?

I have on e of these that I wear around my wrist while I play.

There are lots of different ones on eBay.

Looks awesome.

I am thinking of having a ThunderWolfMount guy in part of a tat and I going to get about my gaming.

Was going to have a yinyang symbol in fire and water with a horde toon in ire and an allance toon from wow, then have my old Darktide toon in amuli armor with a hollow katar in a Virindi mask and the Thunderwolf guy on top with a huge blue moon behind him. And there is a cetic knot work circle around the yinyang, the Thunderwolf would be on that with a moon on top of it. Tring to figure out how to put my Dwarf Warrior from my D&D days in it. It will go on my back.

Do you really want to explain to a girl that you had the emblem of a sci-fi/fantasy army (reminder here sci-fi stands for science FICTION) permanently tatooed on your bicep?

ok, let me start off by saying that I am a 40 year old married dude, so yeah I am a long time out of the dating scene, but with that I can pass on some wisdom. If a girl that you are interested in is not cool with the fact that you play with little plastic space men and the hobby takes up hours and hours of your available time, then she is not the girl for you.

I go so far as to say that if you feel like you have to hide who you are and what you do for fun, then any relationship will end in misery either by the guy resenting the fact he has to hide who he is or by the girl who feels like you misrepresented the package when you do decide to come out of the space closet.

My first date with my wife I brought her a video game instead of flowers, I told her that it lasts longer and that I would love to show her how to play and spend time with her in such a way. "never winter nights" she called me at 2am the next morning asking how to do something in the game and I knew she was the one for me.

So by God if she does not like a cool ass tat that represents something you have a keen interest in, then move on, hump and dump if that's your thing but don't pretend to be somebody that your are not to win the affections of a girl/guy/woman/man/.

not the work i had in question but what i got that night. its gonna be the same just smaller alot more and around the diamond.

I'm considering something similarly wolfy as my second tat. My first was a small and simple ULFR in elder futhark, as the alphabet was what got me into language study initially (I'm currently making a career out of it, sorta...) and was a test to see how I felt about getting inked. It's on my right calf, the next will likely be under it.

Everyone I've spoken to about tattoos says: get a good idea, and sit on it for a year. If after that time the idea still seems as awesome, then it might be worth it, just consider what you'll be doing later in life, as it's usually difficult to get a job with badass sleeves and neck tats unless you're a rockstar, working in a music store (or similar venue) or don't aspire beyond front counter at a fast food joint. Just be able to cover it up if need be.

I've got several planned, all of which have meaning to me on a personal level, but as gaming has been and will continue to be a major part of my life, I felt that something to commemorate that was appropriate. My better half enjoys my geeky side, and though she likes to rib me about it, she has her own small army and enjoyed the few times she has played.

I second what WG Vrox said earlier, that anything you get shouldn't be explained away, or hidden. If the person you're trying to hook up with will mock you for who you are, then they're not the person for you. (luckily we all know wolves are badass, link it with a 3 wolf moon tshirt and let the ladies roll in.)

When you get a tattoo, it's a part of you. Embrace it as you would the rest of you, but keep in mind the gambit of things that can/will happen. How will it look if you put on weight/lose weight? Get a job where that part of the body is visible? If you stop playing the game, for whatever reason.

I know the purpose of the OP was not to look for advice on why to get or not get a tattoo, but as others who might think of getting one might come here for a idea, I think advice isn't a bad thing. Plus others experiences only help us all to learn.

tl;dr Think before you ink, it can be the best or worst decision you'll make.

I'll cap the post with a simple: Nice ink The_Betrayed, :D
