Going to wait a bit to let the paint cure a bit before I seal it. then work on the base. The gaps really didn't take much to fill though. put a little testors cement in the gap and let it dry before sanding it down. maybe took 20 minutes. well now on to the base for the speeder and to work up the plasma gunner and commander. that should give me one complete squad and one LS.... slowly nearing 250 points ^_^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Vaaish Posted December 21, 2007 Author Share Posted December 21, 2007 @darkmarauder: I just cut an approximate template using a bit of a cardboard box (like the one the land speeder came in) pressed it into sculpy, detailed the whole thing with a bit of a cut up aquilla from the front of a rhino. 3vilX: I agree, I haven't quite gotten to the pads yet on him. Since those are the olny two I have like that I'm trying to think through what I'm planning before I do it. I've been debating between covering the right pad in glyphs either using GS, incising them into the plastic, or freehand painting detail in. same for the left pad but with the chapter emblem.
