I'm considering this thread a FAQ for the Age of Heresy book, so if you guys hit anything sticky, or just have comments let me know. I'll answer questions as fast as I can.

Noting that there has not been anything new posted on this thread in some time, I had some questions about the Pre-Heresy Rule Set in 5th Ed. Specifically, each of the legion profiles in the PH Rules by BOLS lists their chapter traits. How does that jive with 5ed, when there are no more chapter traits?

Or am I making a mountain of a mote?

I would suggest choosing a special character that provides that trait - most kinds of armies are possible with this.

You might also use the Tempus Fugitives campaign rules, which you can find here (although these differ more from 'standard' so banal opponents might not be fond of them, and obviously is no use in standard-type tournaments):

Tempus fugitives campaign

Also note that these lists are 'great crusade' era, so events leading up to and including Ullanor.

Anyone know where I can find this? Link no longer works.
