Flesh Eaters, HO! UPDATE NOV 24!

looks good, and like most people the bears caught my attention, but right now the bloodthirster looks like it about to paddle someone to death....scary.

Hah, yeah. I wish I had worked on the Bloodthirster at all, but I have been trying to paint up some tacticals this past week.

So far 4 of them are black and red and need detailing. That's pretty good, but they will be sitting at ~5hrs per tacticals.

More work, half done with this tactical squad. Just need to finish up the red on the other four then go back and do the chest emblems, pruity seals and tactical markings on them!

Cool, you don't hear much -or indeed see much - of the Flesh Eaters. Nice to see one the BA Successors get some love. GW better go back and retcon some Bears into the fluff (that's providing they ever wrote any in the first place!), otherwise there will be Hull to pay.

But seriously, good looking tacticals you got there can't wait to see more.

The one on the right... the muscles would look more intact if you added some bulges above the current shoulders [As bigger better new shoulders]

Yeah, I agree. He is actually leaning forward though, which is not obvious in that shot.

Also he has some armor I have not bothered to strap on him yet; it makes it a bit less obvious that one of his arms was broken and had to be fixed up. There is still a lot ofwork to do. I hate photographing stuff because it always makes me see how much more I have before I will be satisfied.

Anyway more:

Not that exciting, but:

I also guess it's not at all clear what is going on with his feet. The one he is balanced on is actually mostly structural and will transform into a pile of skulls, the raised foot is missing its hood.

Also I picked up some 1mm plasticard, so I can do something more impressive with his other weapon. Oddly enough no one told me that the tyranid bit I used was the tail/lower body for a warrior, not just a claw.

Maybe it's too big?

I also sort of botched his wings, I forgot that I needed to attach them, and the shoulderpad is probably in the way now.

In other news. I will be back to Flesh Eaters in two weeks. Finished that tactical squad and their rhino.

Finally.
