C
old, heartless killing machines is just one of the terms used to describe the White Panthers. Much of the origins of the chapter remains a mystery even to the Adpeta Scholara on Terra. The White Panthers are reputed to be a 26th Founding chapter, however reports of activities by Inquisitorial members and Imperial forces alike place the actual founding of the chapter much earlier. It seems to many of the Imperial Scholars that the chapter was in all actuality founded during the 38th Millennium. They do know for certain that the chapter was formed from the gene-seed of Roboute Guilliman's Ultramarines.

The chapter itself was initially formed under the guidance of Captain Marcus Hadrian, the captain of the Eagle Warriors 4th Company. The initial cadre of Veteran Sergeants, and training staff was carried over with him from the hallowed Eagle Warriors chapter. Captain Hadrian was chosen from amongst the many great Captains of the Imperium due to his renowned devotion to the Emperor and Imperium. His faith and loyalty never wavered regardless of the odds facing him and his men. His name and deeds were stories of legend told around many of the Eagle Warriors halls.

The new marines that would take up arms in the Emperors name would be from the chapters new home world, Canak. Meanwhile the Adpetus Mechanicus from around the Imperium worked to produce all new equipment for the chapter. Several of the chapters space faring vessels were allocated from other chapters who were unable to use them any further due to sever losses or purging following the failed 21st Foundings. A few of the vessels including the Strike Cruiser Hadrian's Revenge, so re-named upon the announcement of his founding the new chapter, were transferred over from the Eagle Warriors chapter as a honor from his departing chapter.

The chapter was given it's name by Hadrian himself, during the construction of the chapter's fortress monastery. As he stood on the walls of the structure looking out over the harsh jungle he sighted a large White Panther. Many of the locals had told stories of the
First Company Terminator

honored creatures and their sightings. While not an uncommon sighting they were very rare. Over the following days and weeks he would sight the panther stalking through the forests surrounding the fortress. Eventually over time the panther began to spend more and more time at or near the fortress monastery. He would lie across the vale and watch as the construction of the fortress proceeded. As Hadrian walked the perimeter one day, the panther began to stalk him, following in his footsteps but never getting close enough for Hadrian to catch or touch him. It was evident that the large cat was not hunting Hadrian but rather watching him. Hadrian took it as a sign from the Emperor and named the chapter the White Panthers.

T
he White Panthers operate a sizeable fleet consisting of five Strike Cruisers and two Battle Barges. The fleet does not operate many of the smaller strike craft that many chapters use due to the availability of the Imperial Fleet. The chapter also posses forty Thunderhawk gunships, as well as several smaller support crafts.

Notable ships of the chapter include the Battle Barges Pango Vires, and Pugnus of Justicia as well as the Strike Cruiser Hadrian's Revenge.

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/Hausser/WP_Badge_Small.jpgChapter Colors

B
lack and White form the basis of the White Panthers chapter colors. The white is to honor the white panthers of Canak that the chapter drew it’s name from. The black is to signify the harshness of the planet on which the chapter lives. Eyes on the warriors helmets are yellow in color to signify the sight and fear seeing of the honored creature amongst the culture of inhabitants and the chapter itself.

Edging is the shoulder pads follows the Codex doctrine for each company, the only exception to this rule being first company terminators whose shoulder pads are completely black. The Crux Termanitus is gold in color with white skull and cross bones. The Chapter Master and his honor guard will have gold trim on their shoulder pads.

Chapter Chaplains are attired completely in black with no signs of white on the armor, save the chapter badge. The chapter views any white coloring on it’s Chaplains as a sign to the enemy that there may be some light in the Emperor’s wrath. Librarians wear the traditional blue armor of their brethren with the left shoulder pad inset in black and rim in gold. All Tech-Marines, likewise, wear the red of their brethren with only the left shoulder pad in black. Edging for Tech-Marines will match the color of their assigned company.

Members of the Apothecarium wear entirely white armor. The Apothecary symbol is in red on a white field on their right shoulder, with the chapter badge as normal on their left shoulder

Veteran Sergeants will wear the red and white helmets of their gene-seed chapter the Ultramarines. All other coloring for the Veteran Sergeants will match that of their assigned company.

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/Hausser/WP_Badge_Small.jpgHomeworld

C
anak, located in Segmentum Pacificus, was chosen to serve as the home world of the White Panther chapter, due to several reasons. The planet itself is a Death-World once visited by the White Scars. While not totally dissimilar to more well known world's like Catachan, it is home to a wide variety of species of both carnivorous plant and animal life. One must be careful while on the surface of the planet to prevent walking into one of the many traps laid by some of the larger planets that are capable of completely enveloping a full size human male. Combine these plants with animals and insects that can be as large as a Dreadnaught makes it a tough environment to survive.

Canak: Death-World
http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/Hausser/canak.jpg

Following the visit and subsequent report by the White Scars, a detachment of research personnel were sent to the plant to see what benefits it could provide to the Imperium. The casualties among the research teams, and IMperial Guard detachments that were sent along as protection were high, however it was soon discovered that the planet itself held much promise for the Imperium. Test revealed that in several locations across the planet there were rich mineral deposits that were used in the construction of Ceramite Armor, Kraken Rounds and AP rounds for Assault Cannon's.

With the reports of these findings the Administorium decided that Canak was to be colonized for the sake of these minerals. Additionally it was decided that the planet would make an excellent operating base for a Space Marine chapter due it it's location. Being located with the vicinity of the Sabbat World's made it an ideal base for a Marine chapter. As the ground works were being laid for the colonization and eventual conversion of sections of the world into a Manufactorium, the research teams reported back on the existence of a hearty race of humans on the planet itself. The inhabitants of Canak had managed to avoid contact with the White Scars, and probably for the better, but had managed to find the new scientific teams to much to resist.

Members of the Inquisition and Ecclesiarchy were dispatched to Canak to investigate the inhabitants. They were to determine if the mark of Chaos was present within the people. Investigations proved that the locals of the planet were in fact pure of the taint, but also unaware of the Emperor's Light. Missionaries and Preachers began to circulate amongst the population spreading word of the Immortal Emperor and his guiding light and path. The planetary locals soon came to embrace the path of the Imperium and become devoted followers of the Emperor.

As the locals were brought within the folds of the Imperium, large settlements were beginning to surface on the planet. The settlers and miners dispatched to the planet began the construction of large manufactorium and surrounding cities to begin the process of harvesting the resources of the planet to help feed the Imperial forces. The cities constructed around the mines are connected by high speed rails that travel through the jungle. Many a worker has been lost to the jungles and creatures within during the construction of the cities and railways. Some of the earlier members of the inhabitants to grasp hold of the Emperor's guiding light have been converted into the Planetray Defense Force. Small detachments of members are located within the cities to provide defense against the planetary predators and in a rapid reaction. Their numbers are kept far to small for any prolonged defense of the planet or it's assets. The cities are ringed with 20 meter high walls in an effort to keep the large predators out of the cities and provide the PDF defensive walls in case of alien incursion. Despite the industrialization of the planet approximately 70% of it's surface remains untouched and natural.

During the construction of the manufactorium, mines and cities a separate group of Adeptus Mechanics and workers were building the Fortress Monestary, Exeter. The fortress was to be the home of the new White Panther chapter.

The Captain’s hunt
Vandar Lucius had been in the jungles of Canak for nearly four days. He had managed to sight one of the honored white panthers of the planets surface and had been tracking him for the last two. The creature made a formidable opponent. Lucius found himself relishing the hunt, feeling guilty that many of the White Panthers combat actions had not been as emotionally affecting as was this hunt. Quickly wiping the thought from his mind, he knew that any time they picked up arms in the Emperor’s name it was a true honor.

A slight movement to his left, as he crept through the jungle, caught his attention. The sudden flash if white amidst the green jungle foliage a sure sign that Lucius was on the correct path still. It was also a sign that he was involved in a game of cat and mouse with the elusive creature. A wry smile crossed his face as he slowly crept in a direction to merge with the expected path of the creature. Carefully watching his step, lest he step into something that could put this hunt at an abrupt end, he moved quietly through the jungle his eyes scanning constantly for the creature.

Lucius crouched in a small clearing scanning around him, he new the cat was out there but where was it at. Quietly he drew the long silvered combat knife from it’s scabbard and spun it idly in his hand. His enhanced vision scanning the surrounding jungle, when suddenly he heard the crash of foliage behind him. The scents of the foliage had fooled his senses and the creature had been able to circle around behind him. Lucius spun on the balls of his feet in time to bring an arm up. The claws and teeth of the creature tearing into his forearm as the two collided in a death struggle. It was now down to kill or be killed for both parties.

The momentum of the cats ferocious attack knocking Lucius off his feet as he tumbled backwards. Kicking at the creature with his feet he threw the animal clear of him. The Larraman Cells instantly began their work to close off the wounds on his arm. The two slowly circled each other as though waiting for an unseen command to attack. Lucius braced himself for the attack as the cat lunged again at him. With a swift stroke of the killing blade he brought it back across his body driving it deep into the chest of the creature. The cat roared out in pain as the blade bit deep into it’s hide. The momentum wrenching the blade from Lucius’s hand, and knocking the cat from it’s feet. It rolled over onto it’s feet, the blade of the space marine still protruding from it’s belly.

The cat lunged again for the warrior, tackling him to the ground. The wound to it’s belly driving it into a new found fury. Lucius fought desperately to turn the tide. The cat had pinned him to the ground and was tearing at his arms, chest and face. Lucius finally managed to get his hands toward the head of the creature and struggled to maintain a hold. Blood was flowing freely from the wounds on his arms, mixed with the blood from the cat made a very slick hand hold. The fur of the creature quickly became matted with the blood of both. The cat swiped one of it’s huge paws down the side if the space marines face tearing four large gashes from cheek to jaw. Fighting through the blood that was now flowing into his eyes, Lucius managed to roll the creature over and grasping at his head of the creature he quickly twisted snapping the neck of the creature. The animal dropped limply to the ground and Lucius sat next to the creature. This truly was a great hunter that deserved to be honored, it would be a good celebration when he recounted the two day hunt to his new company.
http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/Hausser/WP_Badge_Small.jpgCombat Doctrine

W
hite Panther have a loose adherence to the Codex Astartes. The harshness of their home world and environment has forced them to adapt away from the rigidity of the Codex into a battle plan and organizational standard that is conducive to operation and training on Canak. Their ability to think and adapt to situation is direct result of living on such a harsh planet. Many say that members of the White Panthers have developed a "sixth sense" to detect a trap or even detect if an enemy is nearby. While Inquisition has not been able to prove the existence of a psychic connection or even taint of chaos within the members it is still uncanny. Many credit their ability for such things to the type of predators faced on their home world.

The White Panthers are a very zealous group and are completely devoted to the Emperor and the Imperium. The education by the Ecclesiarchy has created dedicated and devout followers of the Emperor. Combine this with the harshness of a live or die planet and you have a chapter renowned for heavy handed tactics. While many chapters may utilize the precision of surgical strikes and raids the White Panthers have always favored the total domination and annihilation of it's foes. Several accounts of their actions have been noted by members of the Inquisition on their thoroughness of action and the totality of which they act.

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/Hausser/WP_Badge_Small.jpgChapter Organization

T
he White Panthers operate under a standard ten-company organization. Each company is comprised of 10 squads as per Codex design. First company is comprised of Veteran’s and those who have been honored with Terminator Armor. While the company struggled for many decades to fill and compliment it’s first company with the armor, they have managed to acquire and or construct near 75 suits of the Tactical Dreadnaught armor. Members of the first company provide the honor guard for the keep of the fortress monastery and the hall of heroes.

The second thru sixth companies are used as full battle companies. Each it kept near it optimal operating man power of one hundred thirty strong. Each of the battle companies contain a full six units of tactical marines, two devastator squads, and two assault squads. All tactical and devastator squads are provided Rhino land transports. Attached Land Speeder units are used for quick strike and reconnaissance purposes. One item of special note about the White Panthers is their complete disuse of bikes.

Seventh and the Eighth Company, while nearly full battle companies, operate with 8 full tactical squads and two devastator squads. Eighth Company is currently on an extended redeployment to Kethra while a new planetary defense force is trained and brought up to operational and self dependency state.

The White Panthers use the ninth company as their heavy support company with the entire company being comprised of Devastator squads, a handful of venerable dreadnaughts, and artillery pieces. Tenth company is used exclusively as a scout company and the gateway company for all new battle brothers of the White Panther chapter. All new initiates are assigned to the tenth company for the duration of their battle testing and indoctrination into the Adeptus Astartes.

White Panther companies use very little of the Plasma technology weapons but have been known to field a few of the weapons from time to time. They prefer the use of Boltgun, Flamer and Melta technology above all else.

Due to the recentness of the chapter, being only three Millennium old, the White Panthers have a limited number of dreadnaughts available to them. The average company within the chapter has from two to three dreadnaughts with the tenth company having six battle-brothers in the armor. The chapter does use Rhino and Land Raider transports extensively.

Initial chapter Librarians and Chaplains were brought over from the Eagle Warriors with then Captain Hadrian. The locals of Canak have become such devoted followers that most the existing chapters Chaplains are now from on planet recruiting. While the chapter does maintain a small number of Librarians they are taken from some of the on planet recruits.

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/Hausser/WP_Badge_Small.jpgBeliefs and Practices

T
he White Panthers are a very hearty, loyal and devoted chapter to the Imperium of Man and the Emperor. It can be said that due to the preaching of the Ministorium they have created a planet of zealots that are devoted to the Imperial cause. The White Panthers act in belief of the complete faith in the emperor. With this belief in mind they have very little tolerance for those who waver in their beliefs or are very non-commital. Further taking this into line they have a very low tolerance for mutants, and have been known to exterminate mutants simply for being mutants. No one can question the White Panthers devotion to the Emperor or mankind; they do however question the efficiency in which they carry out their missions.

The white panther does hold a very honored place amongst the chapter. Chapter Master Marcus Hadrian, having seen the white panther as the chapter’s fortress-monastery was being built, felt that the panthers on the planets surface were signs from the Emperor. As such the chapter master always travels with a white panther at his side. Generations of the honored cats have been breed and raised within the walls of the monastery to fight alongside the battle-brothers.

While the panther does hold an honored place amongst the chapter, they are also used as a sign of battle skill. Prior to advancement to Captain of any of the companies the battle-brother must go on a solo quest in the jungles of Canak. The battle brother is armed only with his combat knife, and must find, stalk and kill a white panther of the planets population. Following his successful return to the fortress-monastery his new company will hold a two day celebration. The new Captain will spend the time honoring the Emperor, their Primarch and white panther itself. The animal will be skinned and it’s coat will become part of the Captain’s ceremonial armor as a cape, similar to the Space Wolves.

332.M39 -The White Panthers responded to a request from Inquisitor Bastalek Grim on the planet Kethra. The Planetary Governor had implemented a conspiracy to secede from the Emperor’s Light. The White Panthers Third Company was dispatched to the planet onboard the Battle Barge Pango Vires. The White Panthers proceeded to systematically destroy the military might of Kethra before finally launching an assault on the Governor’s Palace. They then execute the Governor and his entire consulate. The planetary armory was then destroyed prior to the departure of third company.

Kethra Purging
Conclusion of Inquisitor Bastalek Grim following Kethra purging

…Whether Kethra will be sufficiently recovered to provide its tithe within the next year is a matter for the Administratum. The point that I wish to raise is that the proper application of force could have resolved the entire affair without destroying the military strength of Kethra leaving it vulnerable to alien attack….

….While the warriors of the Adeptus astartes, as ever, showed creditable skill, determination and unswerving loyalty to the Emperor, unleashing them against any Imperial world is to use an ultimate force exceeded only by that of Extermanitus. It is not as if this incident is without precedent, indeed on many occasions Space Marines have pursued their own campaigns without reference or remit to the Adeptus Terra. To think that there are a thousand Chapters, each a thousand-strong, of these warriors poised to strike anywhere in the galaxy fills me with reassurance and dread in equal measure.

-Inquisitor Bastalek Grim

333.M39 – White Panthers redeployed Eighth Company, along with a large contingent of Adeptus Arbites, to Kethra on orders of Adpetus Terra. Forces are temporarily assigned to the planet until a new and proper military can be rebuild and redeployed under proper supervision of the Ministorium and Inquisition.

615.M39 – White Panthers respond to request for help on Jakoba after reports of Thousand Sons warriors received. Sixth Company responded to the planet in an effort to quell the subsequent rebellion. Thousand Sons warriors were prepared for the arrival of the loyalist marines and had several traps waiting for them several traps waiting for them. Despite their ability to avoid "sense" traps and "feeling that something is wrong", nearly eighty percent of Sixth Company was destroyed during the fighting. White Panthers forced to retreat in the face of such huge losses.

215.M40 – White Panthers Fleet intercepted and fought with Eldar fleet, believed to be Saim-Hann in the Ranclund system. The Eldar had been intercepting and raiding Imperial shipments passing through the system. Several support ships were lost and one of the chapter’s strike cruisers were heavily damaged but the Eldar fleet was defeated and forced to withdraw back to their craftworld.

624.M40 – White Panthers Fourth Company engages Ork raiding force on Lamicia. Ork forces led my Warmaster Grimgash had been raiding Imperial settlements and looting the cities. Captian Vandrian defeated Grimgash sending the remaining Ork warriors in disarray. Fourth Company eventually drove the main Ork force from the system. It is believed that a small handful of Orks managed to hide in the mountains and evade being destroyed.

315.M41 – White Panthers Second Company responded to the invasion of Thagra IV by the Alpha Warriors. The planet had a heavy mutant population, involved as the slave work-force within the planet's manufactoria. During the rebellion many of the mutants joined the Alpha Legion's attacks, while some remained loyal and resisted the invasion through guerrilla warfare. The White Panthers eventually drove the Alpha Legionnaires off, afterwards rounding up most of the mutants, including those who had fought against the invading Alpha Legion, considering them all to be traitors. Ready to execute the entirety, the Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn convinced the Marines to have the loyal mutants spared.

997.M41 – White Panthers sent in response and held in reserve for the defense of Tarsis Ultra from Hive Fleet Leviathan. Fourth Company never saw action during the battles due to efficiency of Mortifactors and Ultramarines in defeating the Norn Queen and the hive fleet. The company and chapter returned hom untested against the Tyranids. A fact that still does not sit well today with many of the members of the chapter.

S
everal White Panther battle-brothers have served with the Death Watch Kill Teams. Their unwavering loyalty and devotion to duty making them a perfect fit for the teams. Currently two battle-brothers are with serving the Death Watch, Veteran Sergeant Alexander and Brother Reglianus.

This is my first draft of this information. I pulled as much information as I could from internet and GW info. There isn't much fluff on these guys. The date for Thagra IV was made up by me, due to my not owning the books for Inquisition and I can not find dates for it anywhere. I will try and get some updated imagery up as well in a few eeks when my main tower with all my good imagery programs is back up and running.

Nice to see another White Panther's fan....

I've always pictured the Panthers as being a mobile/guerilla-ish force based off the fact that they successfully drove away the Alpha Legion. I play them with 'Be As Swift As The Wind' and 'See, But Don't Be Seen'. I also have the eyes red, and the groin guards white too....

I love your IA article though! Keep up the good work!

hey have a very strict following of the Codex Astartes, so close in fact that many have rumored their adherence is beyond that of even the famed Ultramarines.

Several ships of the fleet that is under command of the chapter Master of the Fleet are in fact Imperial Navy ships assigned to the system and sector.

The White Panthers operate under a standard Codex ten-company organization. Each company is comprised of 10 squads as per Codex design. First company is comprised of Veteran’s... The second thru seventh companies are used as full battle companies... Eighth company, while a full battle company... the ninth company as their heavy support company with the entire company being comprised of Devastator squads...

I find those points very conflicting. The whole reason of the Codex was to break up the command between marines, imperial guard and the imperial fleet so there wouldn't be another hours heresy. Chapter organisation is part of Codex Astartes too.

Thousand Sons warriors were prepared for the arrival of the loyalist marines and had several traps waiting for them. Eighty percent of Sixth Company was destroyed during the fighting.

Maybe add something like "several traps waiting for them, despite their ability to avoid most traps due to their rumored nature senses, eighty percent..."

Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn convinced the Marines to have the loyal mutants spared.

I think otherwise, look at the loyal chapters of the cursed founding.

Very well done overall.

@Grindgodgrind: I thought a bit about it, but based upon the GW article for the Kethra purge they seemed more of a heavy hitting in your face force.

@ Brother-Captain Temeter: Yes, I am buying one of the GW Battle Company packages in the next few days and will be painting the White Panthers.

@ I_Hector_I: A good point on the fleet. I kind of over looked that part in an attempt to fit my Gothic Fleet into the chapter(very selfish and narrow minded of me), however I do see the point that you raise as 100% valid. I did leave a way out of actually incorporating the Imperial Navy Fleet out of the actual chapter organization.

While the Imperial Navy ships operate independent they can and are called upon by the chapter for supporting vessels.

However the point you raise is entirely valid and I am going to remove the Imperial Navy section from there.

I left it somewhat vague as it's hard to tell what traps have been set on the ground when you are deploying from battle barges to the ground. I do like your suggestion however andam going to add it in..

I had nothing to do with the Eisenhorn part. That was written by Games Workshop for the Inquisitor RPG.

I usually start with a thin white primer coat, then apply a small thin layer of white paint. I had good success with my initial Eagle Warriors, so I will use much of the same style. My skills have improved over the 9 years since I did my Eagle Warriors so I am hopeful the new Panthers will come out even better.

Did you make a mistake here? In a Codex Chapter, only the 2nd through 5th companies are Battle Companies. The 6th and 7th are Tactical Companies (10 Tactical Squads).

I see nothing wrong with having two extra battle companies in itself, but you say that the Chapter is possibly even stricter in its adherence to the Codex than the Ultramarines.

Other than that, a very well written article. I especially like the link you established with the native White Panther.

This makes me want to revisit my own Index Astartes, and make sure it's up to scratch. :)

No I did not make a mistake. That is actually how I wanted them to be configured. I think I just need to remove the very strict adherence to the Codex Astartes. While I understand the Codex covers "everything" I was thinking way to narrow minded when I wrote the line. I was considering only in regards to battle tactics and operational deployment not necessarily in actual chapter build. Much of my diversion away from the Codex Astartes in regard to chapter organization, two extra battle companies, lack of bikes, etc has been solely due to my visioning of training on a death world where things like bikes may be a hindrance given the creatures present. I guess I will have to think and considering if removing the "Very Strict" part or reforming into a traditional chapter organization per Codex would be better.

Shouldn't ?hite Panthers have a crypto-primarch? They have enough gw pedigree.

The White Panthers are from Ultramarine (Roboute Guilliman's gene-seed thus making him their primarch.). Everywhere I have looked has traced the White Panthers back to the Ultramarines and their Primarch.

I made several small edits to the organization and combat doctrine sections. I think they make a bit more sense now.

In the same sense that the original Ultramarines were destroyed and replaced by a new ultramarine chapter, any older chapter might have a primarch. Even though White Panthers may have been a fan chapter, there's still a secondary possibility that they have a primarch. It might be fun to allude to, the same way you seem to imply that Hadrian is either a girl, responsible for some kind of diaspora, an iconoclast, or all three
  • 3 weeks later...

(Why is this under Libre? These guy's aren't a 'DIY', they're official as any other chapter posted in Wd/codex. Index Astartes is more appropriate)

Check your fluff... Only the Um first company got 'wiped out' and rebuilt (thanks to 'nids assault on their planet).

And Wp weren't a 'fan chapter'. They were the winners of the very first WD 'create your own chapter', won by, IIRC, a staff member of WD.

Also, it's nice to see other WP players. I adopted them after some time playing UM and got bored with all blue, way back in 2nd ed (shortly after the WD competition they won :) ). Mixed in a bit of Dark Angels loyalty, tenacity, and stuborness.. and have been pleasantly suprised to see GW and many others have thought of them the same way. But I've since put them to the side, focusing on my own DA for the time being. (I'll pick them back up, and do'm 'proper' when I get a steady source of income again! Now that my painting skills have vastly improved since I first did them)

Only one gripe on what's posted though. The colors are just slightly off, in placement. But I know the painter doesn't allow us to color in each and every seperate little piece like we'd want, forcing us to stick with some, often times, slightly 'off' pictures.

(something a little closer, for the termies, taking into account the black backpacks of PA'd guys = less white on the body, IMO: from sm.php?bpe=7D725C&bpj=7D725C&bp=7D725C&bpc=EDEFF0&hdt=363636&hdm=363636&hdl=EDEFF0&ey=FF3300&er=EDEFF0&pi=A6A6A6&nk=EDEFF0&ch=EDEFF0&eg=FFEE00&sk=FFEE00&abs=EDEFF0&bt=EDEFF0&cod=EDEFF0&ull=363636&lk=EDEFF0&lll=EDEFF0&lft=363636&url=363636&rk=EDEFF0&lrl=EDEFF0&rft=363636&slt=FF3300&sli=363636&srt=FF3300&sri=363636&ula=EDEFF0&lel=363636&lla=EDEFF0&lw=363636&lh=363636&ura=EDEFF0&rel=363636&rla=EDEFF0&rw=363636&rh=363636&bg=FFFFFF&rb=737272&gr=737272&grid=TRUE&wg=true&be=A3A3A3&hsk=true&aq=true&dm3=true&lightshade=true&mk7=333333&chps=CC0000&slips=CC0000&ti=FFFFFF&lkr2=000000&bpr=000000&cs=FA4525&krk=D1E800&spl1=533B1C&spl2=533B1C&spr2=533B1C&

(sorry for late reply)

At the time, I just kept putting on thin layers of white, and going over the areas that still bled through (black base coat, to save time on the black. think I had no CB pots at the time). Now, I'd likely just base white, go over it with a few really *really* thin layers of white to smooth it out, then paint on the black armour pieces. Depends on how 'dark' you want them to look.

Nice work on the panthers fluff everyone. I was struggling to pick between white panthers and mortifiers but i decided to start a small white panthers army and Even tho the fluff on them was pretty nonexistant i am able to follow some guidelines on doing my own chapters fluff :tu: .

Thanks guys.
