That is ab-so-lute-ly AWESOME!!! :) Can it move?

Cambrius

it could if there'd be servos, motors and a powersupply inside. ;)

in the end i'll fix the legs in the final position to give it more stability.

here are some pics to give you a chance to compare the size to other models from my space wolves ... : i call this series: evolution of marine ... :vryhppy:

This is just awsome. I'm very impressed by the fact that those legs actually look like they would be functional. Just awsome mate. ;)

they dont just look it i think they are functional by the look of those pics this is soooo cool not sure if the hip is a bit wide, but you cant really tell until you've made the torso

in fact how are you going to make the torso

you were right ... i removed one of the two barrels. now it looks better - thanks. :)

i drew a concept of how it could lok like on my table ...

in this concept the commander could stand right in the mouth and watch the battle.

additional to that on the mainweaponmounts, ther could be a landspeeder landing pad on each.

andin the back i have my jumpplattform for the assaultsquads the titan should carry. maybe i'l find enough space to add some flak on the roof and 2 sentinels equiped with jumppacks to support the assaultsquads.

that looks really cool

i think you should draw the head front on before you begin to build, cos even though its a replica of out backpacks it will still be insanely complicated

i like the way the armour overhangs the head, ot sure why i like it it just makes it look better

and for your next project:

i give you BUSTER THE HOUND TITAN

sorry i couldn't resist

Wiplash, you wouldn't be a Zoids fan, now would you?

Great looking concept work for the shape of the torso and head, definately looking forward to more progress!

would i? actually i've never even heard of it so i guess that would be a no!

what is it???

busters tail needs some work, some imperial version of a scything tail from nids or the club tail thing on the ork squiggoth but a little less crude lol

the whole day i was thinking how i could improve the legs design ?! ...

i think finaly i found a way by replacing some parts of it against others and corecting the position.

the new legs are about 5 cm taller than the old ones. and i managed to get rid of the defiler parts i used as hip joints in the first version.

i'm quite happy with the new leg, but would like to know your opinion as well ... B)

how can we complain its freakin amazing

although having said that, one improvement i would say would be to mirror the upper leg strut on the right hand side so its on the left and the right hand side of the model's legs

like this:

(sorry dont have photoshop on this pc, so guess what i had to use..... paint! lol)

i think it looks more, errrm...structural, symmetrical and regular, like most imperial vehicles

are the shower head bearings glued?? cos the legs are slightly squiffy but that is probably a mix of gravity and the height of the cans that are causing that, looks ausome though

one thing for me is that the underside of the feet look a little empty, im not sire what you could do to fix that, maybe put something on the base (if our having one) if you cant find anything in your bits box that is suitable

i absolutely looove this model though, why are you using chip boards instead of like plasticard or similiar? or is it just a pattern

This is looking awesome, Have to say though I'm not too sure about that wolf head concept on the peas! Obviously you want a wolf head to tie in with the rest of the army, personally I'd go for a head like the old reaver. Just my opinion though. also, if you do the wolf head I'd make it a bit smaller than that one you cut out. big heads ruin titans!

Anyway keep up the good work.

.

....

meanwhile i started thinking about how to realize the leg-armor. i wanted to design in a way, that still allows seeing the mchanical parts behind.

... :

-

looking at it i felt like there was something missing to make it look mote 40k-like and the armor itself more realistic. according to the lookthrough-criteria described above i found the right parts in my necromunda-box. and believe it or not ... - after some cutting it fir almost perfectly exactly where i wanted to have it ... :(

the hip looks fine now that its taller, is that all the armour you will give it??? or will you add some more at the top? or round the sides/back?

have you started work on the torso?

and will you paint it in one or will you paint the legs, then bosy theen arms then head or something like that??

im feeling curious today :)
