Dammeron
Chaos Undivided is essentially the "catch all" term applied to those Traitors and Renegades who have become associated with the Chaos Powers, but refuse to worship one Chaos power in preference to any other. It is an extremely broad church, referring to forces such as the Great Hosts of the Word Bearers legion, who worship Chaos as a pantheon of divine entities and immortal princes, amongst whom the Four Great Powers are paramount, the dedication to one of the myraid lesser powers or entities that infest the Warp, and the worship of Chaos in its most elemental form as a single, polyglot power of which the various daemons, gods etc are merely facets or components. Chaos Undivided also covers those that presume to make use of the Dark Powers for their own ends, entering into temporary pacts with daemons and their masters in order to fulfil their own ambitions, but eschewing the religious dedication demonstrated by those specifically favoured by the Gods. The raw fact of the matter is that Chaos Undivided defies all attempts at easy classification, since there are as many definitions of the term as there are traitors to which it is applied. Just a little background info for those interested... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/132229-the-great-undivided/ Share on other sites
Seahawk
The raw fact of the matter is that Chaos Undivided defies all attempts at easy classification, since there are as many definitions of the term as there are traitors to which it is applied. Hence why it's so Chaotic! Not to mention fun for me as Word Bearers. Being hard to define is great, since people can never know what to expect... You'd also think that such worshippers could be considered mentally stronger than those that worship a single power. The person that worships all equally is able to resist the temptations of all the different powers, rather than giving in to one of them. Then that person dedicated to a single power doesn't want any others, and thus it's simply easy to turn away. The undivided is still probably bombarded by the powers to be dedicated to each of them.
