SeattleDV8
Read the Rule...attacking a vehicle that IS immobilised OR was stationary last turn. being immobilised overrules whatever it did or didn't do last turn. auto hit Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/133536-attack-against-vehicle/page/2/#findComment-1696300 Share on other sites

Brother Gothard
Read the Rule...attacking a vehicle that IS immobilised OR was stationary last turn.being immobilised overrules whatever it did or didn't do last turn. auto hit I agree. This was settled when it was being discussed for 4th, and there is no change to the rule - if anything it is more implicit now that whenever you are assaulting an immobilized vehicle, regardless of what it did in previous PHASES or turns, you hit automatically. njm3
Remind me to always check the "fast vehicles" section. P70 makes it (relatively) clear with the verb tenses that the immobilization check auto hit is at the moment of that model's assault check. So even if other models in the scrum needed 6s to hit, if one of them gets an immob, all successive assaulting units get auto hits. Nope that will not work. you do all your hits in a batch and then roll for armor pen. by the time you are resolving damage the attack is over. unless its a second squad or a squad attacking with different Int. ....ooohhh. wait. a lucky hit with a chainsword and then auto hit with power fist? njm3
Thats why I said "units" rather than models. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/133536-attack-against-vehicle/page/2/#findComment-1699315 Share on other sites
