I'm not too fond of having an ammo belt going into a ammo hoper and then belting out again.. I guestion you keep just the original HB without the long halo belt, or link the ammo belt from the WH to the HB directly...

Seems a shame that, for all the hard work on the body and crew, the ammo link problem could have been resolved rather easily; it ruins a nicely-done conversion, to see the ammo link into the hopper, only to belt out again.

what is the banner made from and is the purple stuff glue to hald it inplace?

i simply took cut a piece of silken cloth from one of girlfirends old scarves.

to fix it and hold it in position i used extrem thin fluid superglue. the texture and surface of the banner, robe or whatever you made, depends of course on the type of cloth you used.

i used this technique since about 13 years, now and called it "realclothing".

and because of the fact, that i'm not realy good with sculpting cloth from e.g. greenstuff rc is a quite good way to get along pretty well, allthough. ...

...

anyone in the uk who fancies giving this a go can pick them up at gamestation for 6.99 each

and here we go ...

this evening i continued with painting ... .

this one's still extremely wip ... e.g. most of the highlighting is still missing, the armor hasn't got any highlights so far ... , the banner's just undercoated, lot's of details are still missing ......

.

but allthough i think i should post some pictures, because i think you can already get the idea ...

Are they the same ones? (as in the right scale?) It says the chopper is 3 inches long, which seems about right, but I'm not sure.

I also found this warthog on the gamestation website. Slightly more expensive, but I think its a bit bigger.

yeah the halo 3 ones on the gamestation site are the right ones (there 3 " in length aswell) and they work out to be just 2/3 (ish) the length of a current edition rhino although not sure about width, but judging by the pics pretty much looks like the width of a rhino as well, cause i havent got one yet, but i ordered the same warthog (as on gamestation) from another place which says its deffos 3" in length,

and i didnt order it with this in mind, but after reading this thread i might have to give it a try, but i'll give it a go with my imperial guard armoured co. ;) either that or try and squeeze some raven guard into it? hmmm anyone know how to make a warthog silent and stealthy ;):P
