Brother Plasticard
Great work IT! I like the bases quite a bit, but my fav thing about these guys are their custom backs :) Cheers! Muskie
Well done. These came out great. Too often people go crazy with green stuff calling it "Nurgle" then slap some paint on it usually a rediculously heavy dry brush destroying the majority of the detail on the orginal sculpt. But yours came out well, Nurgle but not unrecognizeable. Good work! Bogus
I think they look fantastic. Any tips for how you sculpted on these models? You've made me interested in attempting something similar, but I don't have a great deal of experience sculpting with putty. ImperialTemplari
Thanks guys Hi Bogus, make up small bits of GS at a time, press it onto model and use a moist modelling knife to spread it out thin, then use a peace of wire to do holes etc and use a pin or modeling knife to make cracks etc let the whole thing dry and then come back an sculpt tentacles coming out of the cracks, its really very easy, just time consuming, the power lines are GS over wire and sculpted with a pin. Hi Iacton, rust is base coat of Velajo hull red, then thin washes of bestial brown. when it dries it sometimes goes on to thick, damp it down with washes of hull red.
