Warp time in the next FAQ

The constant arguements about warp time will be answered in a new FAQ for the current CSM codex... I called GW US to ask another question about BA transports(and got a vague answer) then asked about warp time- Yes its only rerolling misses and fails to wound not all rolls to wound and to hit, and its will be on the next FAQ for CSM codex. The person I spoke too said that faq is out but I have yet to find.... or is coming out...

Hope this will stop the multiple threads of arguements about it...

Indeed it does, the issues with Warptime are hardly pressing compared to (for example) the debacles over the MoT, LoS, and so on...

What debacles of the MoT, the fact that people are cheating by trying to give squads a 4+ inv with a icon instead of the 5+ that the codex actually says!

As to the LoS, at least Daemon princes in the CSM can use it multiple times in one turn unlike the daemon princes in the daemon codex.

Over on Warseer and LO there seems to be quite a bit of confusion as to what the MoT does when applied to Aspiring Sorcerers, Daemon Princes, and most everything. I hadn't heard of anyone trying to give anything that should get a 5++ save from the IoT a 4++ though.

Don't ask me too much more, I am not the one confused, it's those on other forums like I said. :D

Yeah, Lash wasn't good enough. :P

What about tzeentch psykers/DPs. Can they cast a same spell twice in a turn??

Coz some people claim they can do that (mastercrafted gift of chaos wont be nice) . but hell.. even the mighty Eldrad need his magical staff to be able to cast a same spell twice. these tzeetch players... bla.. bla..

Like I said... I'm not the one confused. Some of them say that their Sorcerers of Tzeentch can cast the same power twice; I equate this to firing the same weapon twice, and say it's impossible. Though I think a Daemon Prince of Tzeentch can use two different shooting powers (say, Doombolt and Wind of Chaos), as he's a Monstrous Creature and is able to fire two weapons.

That's just one debate I know of. Other people think that because an Aspiring Sorcerer has the MoT, he can select two powers from his list, when it clearly states he may take one. The confusion comes from people assuming the lines in the Daemon Prince and Sorcerer entry that allow these models to take two powers apply to Aspiring Sorcerers as well... which they don't.

Others believe Warptime should be able to be used in conjunction with a Force Weapon if the model has the MoT. RAW states that you cannot, as the rules for force weapons state that no other power may be used that turn. However, GW has repeatedly broken that rule in battle reports, so it might seem that RAI indicates that one can do this. 5th edition is rumored to clear this up.

These are a few of the debates I could think of off the top of my head. Don't knock Tzeentch players too much, they broker your alliances, remember? :P
