Isiah
Nicely put together fleet and really well painted. It's been a few years since I've seen so many painted vessels in one place at one time. Great names too :). Cheers I
Chaptermaster Graymantle
That is one fine fleet you got there Vaaish! Also like the name tags. - Very well executed! :tu:
Vaaish
Thanks! I've gone back through and updated the pics to not have the green/yellow cast and better contrast.
Bigger-than-Jesus
It's always good to see support for the SGs on the site, especially stuff like this. Very nice.
Burias-Drak'shal
That is one of the best painted, and one of the largest BFG fleets Ive seen. Great work
Vaaish
Some minor necromancy here, but I've completed what I feel is nearly the final additions to this fleet. I'd still like to do one more lance dauntless and one exorcist but that's it. The Oberon I'd planned will be finding a place as an Admech BB. In any event, here are a couple of things I've worked up the past year, two armageddons and a few of the light cruisers from armada that I helped a friend design and construct the models for: http://www.digitalequinox.com/wip/bfg/armageddon01.jpg http://www.digitalequinox.com/wip/bfg/armageddon02.jpg http://www.twolandscreative.com/wip/bfg/zeusupdate.jpg http://www.twolandscreative.com/wip/bfg/zfleetupdate.jpg

CosmicCreations
These are very nice indeed, I've always liked the look of these ships and you have just convinced me to buy some, but can I request a comparison shot? I'd like to just get an dea of size really, probably against a marine or something, really appreciate it ;) Again very nice indeed, well painted and looking fantastic. Vaaish
I'm getting ready to head out for the weekend, but I'll try to get a comparison shot up next week. In the mean time, the ships are mounted on the GW small flying bases.
CosmicCreations
Ah ok Vaaish thanks :), I think I'll try and treat myself to a few ships this weekend, in which case I won't need the pics.
Vaaish
Yes, it's been ages since I posted. No I haven't done a whole lot either. But I CAN finally say these strike cruisers are now complete which is great news for me. They've also been the longest running paint project for me. Mainly I wanted to push things a bit in terms of blending so I resolved to use no washes or drybrushing on the models. I even decided to do engine glow which I typically avoid although I couldn't bring myself to highlight the models up to pure white. Hope you enjoy them. Now I can move back to some commission mechs and some of my own for a while. I'll be posting some better shots of one of the BC and one of the regular SC later. These are the Bombardment cannon versions that swap the LB for a S5 BC http://www.twolandscreative.com/wip/bfg/SCBC01.jpg These are the regular SC. http://www.twolandscreative.com/wip/bfg/SC01.jpg Group shot http://www.twolandscreative.com/wip/bfg/SCGroup01.jpg

Octavulg
Yours is one of the only examples of engine glow I've seen that actually looks like engine glow. Very impressive.
Vaaish
Thanks, I usually avoid the glow but the dark area formed by the side fins made it necessary to break up the space and add some interest.
