NautiusMaximus
Those aren't analogies, Bolt Thrower and Debauchery write songs specifically about 40K and Chaos. Do you know any other specifically warhammer songs from other bands? Into Battle by Ensiferum We left our homes behind, now we're following the wolves' trail the traitors as they leave imperial space Through the deepest forests, beneath the stars we ride I can see the moon glowing red like the blood of warriors Madness taking over There's a prophecy, that tonight many men will die The fire will burn forever in our passionate hearts Our destinies are calling us now We are ready to take their lives The Black Crusades Into battle we ride with Gods by our side We are strong and not afraid to die We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled WE'LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell! This one fits perfectly Prominent leaders, cast your swords in the wind as a sign of war Men, prepare for death, 'cause we might never return Blood will spill and heads will fall Blood for the Blood God As the swords sparkle, lights the night power swords :D ? The ground rumbles as we attack support fire hits the imperial trenches as the chaos marines charge in In the throes of rage, we will fight The lightning's flash, the thunder's roar Will petrify the weak We'll show no mercy, we'll kill them all! Maim Kill Burn We are sworn in the name of steel Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/136611-interesting-analogies/page/2/#findComment-1614080 Share on other sites
Captain Tezdal
Sorry for double post. Found another interesting song, again by GWAR. Those guys must've taken some inspiration from 40k. Some of the stuff they come out with is too close to be coincidence. For example: Lights fade, all is shadeZombies stalk the promenade This is promise of eternity Piles of dead, impaled head Steaming peat is wretched red They say history is written in such ways Trust in rust, dirt and dust Worms awaiting all of us At least that's what I heard Crows soar, lions roar Chaos rules forevermore The human race is the only X factor The decay of grandeur From riches to rot The decay of grandeur say To have and then have not Kings crouch, the throne is doomed Assassins reach the inner room The jester has become the interloper The Queen is struck, then runs amuck Her carriage wallows in the muck The cemetery was moved indoors The decay of grandeur From riches to rot The decay of grandeur say To have and then have not Some say we have lost our reason Some say we have lost our minds Spinning in the blackest wisdom Coveting the darkest wine I say have your host amongst us And there you tarry for a time All your virtue shall desert you Decaying grandeur, box of pine First the sound, and then the smell Sonorous the eldritch bell Send you to the seven hells in time The decay of grandeur From riches to rot The decay of grandeur say To have and then have not In time, in time, in time, in time...Decay Plague, Ravage, Rot and Death! For Papa Nurgle! ahh gwar...when i lived in richmond there was a homless guy that sat outside music store that told stories about partying with gwar back in the day...khorne knows if they were true or not....but yea, gwar definately brings out the chaos in me Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/136611-interesting-analogies/page/2/#findComment-1614086 Share on other sites
