chaos gods

The Chaos Gods don't have physical bodies since they reside in the Warp which is the exact opposite of the physical plane. As such they can change their looks into exactly what they want. From what I've read though Khorne usually is shown as a great brutish warrior sitting ontop of his brassen throne ontop his mountain of skulls in a sea of blood, Slaanesh is a perfect mix of man and woman who just looks perfect and completely allures anyone unfortunate enought to look at her/him/it/whatever, Nurgle is IIRC mostly shown as a old, old man in a dirty and worn robe with beard and what not, I recall reading something about him taking on the apperence of the closest father-figure the onlooker have/had as well. And Tzeentch is just a big cloud or something constantly changing shape and colors.

They do look vaguely like the GD's. There are descriptions of them in one of my OLD WHFB books. I will dig it out and post a brief description some time in the next couple of days.

basicly khorne looks like a GD of khorne, a brutish snarling dog.

Slanny is androgoness (sp?), and all sexy. (personally if I can't tell if it's a woman or not I don't find it sexy :pinch: )

Can't remember about nurgle, I assume a great unclean one, I think.

Two descriptions of Tz - one pretty much like the changer of ways GD and another description that sz that he has 1 head and face where it should be and another face on his torso, that description doesn't say any thing about looking bird like.

Like I said I'll dig the book out and post again, maybe Sunday night.

The Chaos Gods do not have physical forms as such. Like the daemons, they appear in various iconic manifestations based upon their aspects, and the preconceptions/beliefs/desires/fears of those that worship them. There are, however, certain symbolic representations of the chaos Gods that are mopre universal than others. Khorne, for example, is almost always depicted as a vast, bestial warrior seated on a brass throne atop a mountain of skulls, Slaanesh is always divinely beautiful and usually androgynous. I'd advise picking up the Liber Chaotica books or the new daemon codex for further details.
