Brother Nihm
If you fix the specks of light grey on the side of the bases they will be perfect. Great job! :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/138150-jgemrich-crimson-harriers-army-blog-jan30th-update/page/4/#findComment-1813542 Share on other sites
jgemrich
Here is my Chaplain. Kable
That Chaplain looks great, Especially the skull helm. Awesome work! Captain Pugno
i am loving the terminators that you have done, (that includes the chaplain) of your names you were considering my personal favourite is Barrow Hawks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/138150-jgemrich-crimson-harriers-army-blog-jan30th-update/page/4/#findComment-1839859 Share on other sites
MEanBOb
This color scheme is very awsome. The white heads on your marines really pop. The pose on the right terminator in the fisrt picture is my only gripe. It looks awkward. Your also a very good painter, keep up the good work. Oh, and sorry if your name is already perminent, but afore mentioned possible name, "Harbingers of Dawn" is much cooler then "Crimson Harriers." jay79
Wowwww. These are awesome. Truly great work on those. I love the Terminators especially. Is it just me or did you start adding some boltgun metal to the brown? *two thumbs up* :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/138150-jgemrich-crimson-harriers-army-blog-jan30th-update/page/4/#findComment-1840152 Share on other sites
jgemrich
Thanks for the compliments all. No boltgun added to the brown. Just shaded w/ a black wash and highlighted back up. I can't say I've really picked a name yet. They are have been nicknamed the "Sh*t Eagles" in my league until their winning percentage gets up. jay79
Ah I see. Well it looks really great. You could name them... Iron Eagles? I'm trying to think of a name that suits them. jgemrich
Here is my second full Tactical Squad. Nothing special. These are the AoBR figs (minus the true sgt). Metal Fingered Villain
This is sweet painting, good to see you here at B&C. Also good to see your still churning out models at the same rapid pace and at the same qaulity too since I've been to the confrontation forums (Rackham completely lost me when they went PPP), lovely stuff. paulson games
Incredible use of poo brown! The red and drab brown really make for a striking combination, also very strong military colors. I am totally blown away by the cockpit detail of your titan, awesome work. Is the cockpit made from multiple pieces? I shudder to think of teh pain it'd take if you painted the control and rader screens with that huge back piece in the way. jgemrich
Here is my Thunderfire Cannon and Techmarine. The nice thing is I can bust out the Techmarine for the HQ slot too since he's finished. I really struggled to bring a little life to the cannon. Pretty blah overall. http://jgemrich.smugmug.com/photos/464384561_7gsEG-O.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/138150-jgemrich-crimson-harriers-army-blog-jan30th-update/page/4/#findComment-1864009 Share on other sites
