Custodian Athiair
well here it is it is about my chapter The Sons of Herakles anyway one with the story Colonel Nemhad surveyed the troops in front of him. All Cadians, all willing to die for the Emperor. And they would. The Ork Waaaaagh had gotten out of hand on Javis. Many civilians had died already on Javis, the local PDF was slaughtered, their hurried defences blown to smitheries by the orks, and now the orks would face the finest of the Imperial Guard, the Cadians. Javis had been a flourishing agri-world, it fed a few hive worlds near by, and was becoming quite rich. Then the orks came looking for food to fed the growing Waaaaagh. The distress call was picked up by the near by Cadian 65th, at first they thought that it wasn't important. But once the knew that if they fell then so would the nearby systems soon follow. “Men, today we shall fight for the Emperor,” Nemhad called to his men “The orks numbers are high, but they underestimated the power of the Imperium. Are weapons are better than theirs, our armour stronger, our aim truer. Also little do they know we have the power of the Emperor's Hammer the mighty Baneblade, we also have a whole company of Lemun Russes, how can we fail? The orks will die in their droves, but they shall keep coming. We shall fire until we run dry, but we shall still fight. Men we shall make a stand here in Beneck build the defences strong and man them well. For we are Cadians. The strongest, largest and best Guard there are! For the Emperor!” Nemhad cried out. His men returned his cry. The Cadians were going to war. It was a few days until the orks were spotted on the horizon. They came with the sun. Their numbers made the sun look green as it rose. “MEN! To the walls!” Nemhad called. Now was the time. In the distance he could hear the tracks of the Emperor's Hammer trawling through the streets. With the many other tracks of the Lemun Russ tank company. Nemhad lead his bodyguard up to the middle wall. He would lead from the front. Men franticly hurried around hunting for their weapons. And then they headed up to the walls. The Cadians were ready. “Rite boy'z, dem hummies tink dey can beat us, HA, dey haven't met da power of ma WAAAAAGH! So should we teach dem a lesson de'll never forget? Well?” Radbock was soon answered but a huge Waaaaagh! from his boys. “Gd den let's go!” The ground shook as the orks charged. Nemhad waited. His sword held high. All men watched him. The orks then met the surprise Nemhad had for them. The orks charged right into the minefield the first 20 lines of the orks blew sky high, black blood flying everywhere along with multiple limbs. Nemhad waited until the orks broke through the minefield. Then his sword flashed down. The air in front of him light up. Hundreds of lasguns fired at the on coming horde. Many orks fell but the rest just climbed over the dead. They just kept coming. Then Nemhad thought of something. Where was the Baneblade? Boom! 5 score of orks got blown to pieces, that answered his question. The heavy support teams of Nemhad's bodyguard blasted away at the oncoming orks. The suddenly 10 explosion ripped through the orks horde, the tank company was still there. A couple more shots from the Baneblade and Nemhad started feeling relaxed. Until he heard the whistle of a missile, and turned to see where it was heading. BOOM!!! a huge explosion engulfed the Emperor's Hammer. Was it possible that the one of the greatest machines ever to exist was now just a smouldering wreck? He didn't want to look through his binoculars but he did and his worst fears were realised. “Wat a shot!” Big Mech Flickzak congratulated his lootas squad “Now den wat's next? Well look at dose birdies de'll do nicely,” he pointed at the next target. The orks had almost reached the walls, Nemhad was sweating. He had to do something, well at least he still had the Lemun Russes. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! 4 tanks blew up sending smoke spiralling into the already choking sky. Nemhad felt sick. “Wow u guys r fantastic!” Flickzak was ecstatic “4 down 6 t go, da boss is gonna be so 'appe” Flickzak was jumping about with glee. They would definitely take this planet now.] tell me what you think Athiair :D ps. more coming soon psps. what do you think of my ork writing? Custodian Athiair
heres part 2 PA appears! Nemhad was sweating, his fire support was gone, the greenskins had started to pile over the walls. He could hear the screams across the battlefield. He had given up, there was nothing he could do. “Sir! There's a message on the vox for you!” shouted Nemhad's vox-caster. “Who is it?” answered Nemhad “They wont say, they just want to talk to you!” the noise of the battlefield was deafening “Patch them through,” Nemhad cried over the noise. He prayed it was reinforcements “Who is this,” “I should ask you the same question,” answered a deep voice “Commanding Officer Nemhad, of the 65th Cadian Regiment,” answered Nemhad crisply “Good, this is Captain Dionysus of the Sons of Sparta Astartes Chapter,” spoke the marine “We are here to supply you with reinforcements, do we have permission to land,” “Are you saying that we cannot hold out?” replied Nemhad “We are Cadians, we do not retreat!” “Fine, there are many other planets that could use our help,” the marine answered. “Wait, we are over whelmed here, the orks are swarming over our defences!” screamed Nemhad “We're coming down, just hold out!” the line went dead. “Vox! Send the call out, tell them to hold out, support is coming,” the vox-caster sent the message out across the remaining, guardsmen. They would hold out. “Die hummies, da power of our Waaaaagh!!! is to powerful for u hummies!” bellowed Boss Radbock as he crushed a guardsman between his huge power claw. His boyz were enjoying this, they sliced men in half with their chopas and blasting them to pieces with there shoota's. They really were enjoying this. Radbock could imagine the Waaaaagh!!! he could gather, and march upon the hummie's empire as dey call it, he could conquer the galaxy. A hummie charged at him, sword held high, Radbock swept him aside and the hummie got impaled into a wall. A really thick deep whistle came from the sky, Radbock looked up 3 huge metal brazen droplets fell from the sky, plummeting into the ork lines, squashing a score of orks each. The doors blew open felling another load of orks, and which was followed by hundreds of bullets ripping through the orks shredding through their armour like it was paper. Nemhad looked out into the middle of the ork's lines seeing the massacre his heart lifted, the Astartes had come. The orks were in shock they had just seen 3 machines just appear from no-where and blowing up 100 or so of them. Nemhad wondered where the Astartes were, then suddenly the current drop pods exploded killing another 50 or so orks in the hail of shrapnel. This left a 3 huge circles of empty space right in the middle of the ork lines. Out of the already cloudy sky fell 10 drop pods, landing directly in the circles. The doors blew open. Then huge power armour clad Space Marines charged out, although Nemhad was confused, they didn't wield the normal Astartes bolter. No they instead wielded, each a huge chainsword and a bolt pistol, except for 1 man in each squad who held a huge spear, the crackled with energy. The marines flew into the stunned orks ripping them to pieces with their weapons. The orks might of not been wearing armour, the Astartes just sliced through the orks with relative ease. This spurred the remaining guardsmen on. Lasguns started to crack up again, the pound of autocannons and whistle of missiles surrounded the battlefield once again, the orks started to die in huge numbers. The Space Marines had, just by appearing, pushed the 65th onto greater acts of bravery. The orks started to fall back. Radbock looked around his boyz were running amok. “Oi, get bak 'ere, de aint got us beat yet!” yelled Radbock, but it was useless, there was nothing he could do. He pulled back, he'd say to his boyz it was a tactical retreat. The hummies and de supa hummies had defeated dem, der was nothing he could do. As he ran something blew into his back, he turned. Standing there was a marine as the hummies called dem, with a smoking pistol. Radbock could feel the blood running down his back. “You shudn't do dat!” roared Radbock and he charged at the supa hummie. hope you like it any ideas on title yet? BlueWaterDragon
Hmm, I wouldn't worry excessively about a title, it will suggest itself to you when the time is write! Brother Cambrius
Very good Athiair. Custodian Athiair
i've got the captain name you shall find it in this next enstallment of "(insert title here)" Captain Aesclius stood facing the huge ork. The huge hole in it's body didn't deter it. It charged at him, with it's huge black claw held high in the smoky air. Aesclius dodged the slow moving, cumbersome claw, with relative ease and brought up his Power Spear up through the ork's arm pit, it slid through the rather crude but tough armour like it was paper. Black blood poured onto Aesclius' bronze helmet. The ork carried on as if he had not be injured just missing Aesclius with a punch. As Aesclius came up from his roll we has met with the claw, Aesclius went flying into an ork mob, crushing 2 with his weight. He stood up and started to run at the armour clad ork, firing bolt shells as he ran, most bounced of the armour the rest seemed to cause to pain at all. Radbock charged back he would smother the hummie with his weight. Then about 6 yards before the met, Aesclius threw his spear with un-nerving accuracy into Radbock's chest. Aesclius drew his sword and followed his spear slashing at the ork's stomach spilling forth a gush of blood. Radbock brought his claw to bear and smashed it into Aesclius, but Aesclius brought his shield up just in time to block the blow. This shattered his shield. “Oh you should so not have done that!” spat Aesclius through gritted teeth. “Ha, wat you gunna do bat dat den?” mocked Radbock. “This!” Aesclius leapt into the air high above Radbock's head. Into the sun blinding Radbock. Then down he came, sword held high, and he sliced down. Radbock fell blood pouring out of what used to be his head. Aesclius wrenched out his spear, and stormed into the rest of the foul greenskins. Nemhad watched as the Astartes butchered the greenskins in their droves. His men where doing their bit as well, for the first time since the Emperor's Hammer had been made a wreck he felt assured that they would win. Then he saw the orks had started to retreat, they had held back the tide, for now. “Vox!” he grabed the vox radio “Men, hold fire, save your ammo!” after a few seconds the fire died down around the city. He'd let the Astartes finish the job. As he marched back down towards the plaza, the vox caster called out “Sir! The Captain would like to speak to you!” “Very well,” Nemhad said reluctantly “Yes sir?” “Why did you stop firing?” boomed the Astartes voice “I wanted to save our ammo we don't know if they'll be back or not!” replied Nemhad “We had them on the run!” “Exactly why waste ammunition on a beaten enemy?” Nemhad bit back. “I want a word with you officer, wait at your base of operations,” the line went dead. Nemhad was about to face the full wrath of a Space Marine, he suddenly felt nervous again. At sunset Aesclius marched into Nemhad's quarters. “Welcome sir,” Nemhad said nervously “I have no need for a welcome” answered the marine “Those xenos were running, and yet you don't shoot why?” “Because we don't know if they'll be back,” answered Nemhad certainly “I don't think they'll be back,” said Aesclius assuredly “And whys that?” “Because they're leaderless!” boomed the marine “When?” “Since I took to the battle!” spat the marine “Well I congratulate you sir,” replied Nemhad “I don't want praise I just want those foul greenskins not to befoul the Emperors holy ground any more!” Aesclius said back “Well then tomorrow we shall advance on their encampment!” declared Nemhad “That's where you are wrong officer,” Aesclius said forcefully “we strike tonight!” and with that Aesclius left to make ready. Nemhad froze, before swiftly sending the order to his men “Put on your halo's, we're going into hell,” and with that Nemhad left himself to get ready. tell me what you think and title names are always welcome ;) Athiair  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/138649-no-title/#findComment-1629938 Share on other sites
Hubernator
Sounds good. Slight grammatical errors in places but generally good. The names you've picked are good :) As for a title of the story try the name for a war or an incident. Something like "The --- Incident" or "The --- War". Custodian Athiair
nice idea'shubernator thanks Once Nemhad was fully battle armoured, we strode out towards the plaza where his men were gathering for the night raid. His golden hemmed black cape fluttered in the wind of Javis' cold moon less night. His trusty autopistol holstered at his hip, and his sabre swinging by his side. As he paced up and down watching his beloved 65th prepare for the, what seemed suicidal, assault on the ork's encampment he wondered how the Space Marines were preparing, if they were preparing, for the raid. Slowly but surely platoon officer marched up towards Nemhad to inform that their platoon was ready for battle, and the answer was the same every time. “Bring your men to the front and keep them calm,” Nemhad had said it so many times that it bored him. And he wondered when the young officers would realise what they have to do without having to ask him. But soon they would learn, but when is soon he had no idea. After a few hours of waiting most of the army was standing out in front of Nemhad waiting for orders, when finally Nemhad's vox-caster, Mandras, came running up to him “Sir, it's the Captain Aesclius!” “Finally, yes captain,” spoke Nemhad “Are you ready,” answered Aesclius “Most,” “Tell the rest to hurry up,we leave in 1 hour,” the line cut of. “Cadians, we have 1 hour till 0 hour, all remaining Platoons hurry up!” Nemhad blared into the vox. Then he had a thought, what was the plan. Suddenly he got worried, they were going into the jaws of the xenos with no plan at all, something wasn't right. And with that he marched of to find Mandras again. When he finally found Mandras, it wasn't long until the call would be made to move out. So he quickly ran to Mandras. “Mandras, get Aesclius on the vox now!” Nemhad hurried through the sentence. “Sorry sir but I don't know the Captains vox code, he never told me,” answered Mandras nervously. Great he'd have to wait for the Astartes to call. Which didn't take long. “Nemhad move out!” came the call “Sir, before we move out, first of where is the ork's encampment?” “Head north, towards the mountains, they're camped in a large valley,” answered Aesclius “Thank you and second what's the plan?” “No time, I'll give you order's when we arrive,” and the line went dead before Nemhad could get in about the vox code. Nemhad spun on his heel and swiftly marched out of the room, towards his men and death or glory. As his men quick marched towards the Tooth Mountains Nemhad wondered where the Astartes were as they were not in sight, and hadn't come through on the vox. None the less Nemhad marched on, he wasn't sure whether leaving the fort with only 3 platoons and the defence servitors to defend it, but the Astartes wanted as many of the 65th as they could get. Still Nemhad had no idea of the plan. So for the moment he decided that he would order the men to spread along the valley getting as high as they could of the valley sides and move towards the base firing with everything they had. It wasn't the best plan, but he couldn't risk setting up heavy weapons knowing that the orks love combat. Suddenly Mandras jogged up to Nemhad “Sir it's Aesclius,” panted Mandras. Finally thought Nemhad “So what's the plan?” asked Nemhad “Just march into the camp,” came the reply “That's it!” Nemhad was shocked “Do what ever you would do in this situation, just distract the orks for long enough for us to execute our plan, no radio silence from now on” and again as abruptly as the transmission had come Aesclius had gone. So now he knew the plan, run into the jaws of death. “Mandras send out the order, march down the tunnel and hold the train up,” he just hoped that they were good enough, and what the Son's were up to. i cant belive that i've written 2 sections in 1 day i'm happy with my self ;) hope you like it and i'll think about the title thanks Athiair :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/138649-no-title/#findComment-1630177 Share on other sites

Custodian Athiair
where does it say that the ork warboss knew what the marines were armed with? fine with the permission thing but i felt i wanted it ;) and where does an ork say Astartes? anyway next 2 pieces (special treat ;)) or 1 long one how ever you see it :P Aesclius waited in the mountains, waiting for the 65th to distract the orks. He hoped the plan would work and that Nemhad wouldn't falter in his all but suicidal plan. He lifted up his view finder and peered round the ork's flimsy, but highly defended encampment, the orks were everywhere, the made the brown mud seem covered in grass. Then he saw a blinding light in the sky, if it wasn't for his pupils reactions he would have been blinded as well. He saw the orks stumbling around bumping into each other like the disorderly bunch they were. The assault had begun. Nemhad had ordered the assault almost the entire regiment of the 65th Cadians assaulted the ork's encampment. Lasguns cracked and the air smelt like it was burning. Nemhad ordered the 3 missiles launchers he had brought to blow open the main gate. This was met with a thunderous explosion as the crude doors were blown to pieces. The 65th stormed in, burning ork flesh with every shot fired. Soon all the ork's were locked in combat with the loyal Cadians. It was then that a huge explosion ripped through the camp. Aesclius had planted and large pile of grenades the mountain that the rear of the ork's base was built upon. This explosion rippled through out the ork base, walls and buildings fell. And then a huge rock fall fell on the camp crushing hundreds and hundreds of orks into little more than a green black pulp. It was then that the Sons of Herakles stormed into the rear of the orks, felling them in their tens. Then the Sons ploughed into the ork's crushing them between the hammer and the anvil. The orks were being butchered. Their blood was making the valley floor turn black. The ork's were panicking, and in their panic they tried to flee through the sides, some escaped but most were mowed down with well drilled Astartes bolter fire. Aesclius didn't care if some escaped he was just looking to destroy them so much that they would never bother the system again. The air was thick with smoke and dust, making it very hard to see. Then out of no-where the dust and smoke cleared. The sound of a clunking turbine could be heard, blowing the field to remove the dust. Flickzak's lootas had fixed up the ork's air purifya and kicked it in to boosta mode, it cleared the field quickly. “Boyz start to kill dem!” Flickzak's lootas started to mow down the hummies shredin der bodies with huge shootas. It was to easy. The ork's counter charged and started to kill the hummies. Red blood started to mix with the black pooling on the earth. And now the orks would win thought Flickzak. Nemhad saw his men being cut up with rough ork weapons, libs started to fly every where. And now he saw the ork mob heading towards him, he drew his sabre and his autopistol. He started to place shots into ork heads, orks fell but not enough to stop them. Nemhad sliced of an ork's head, a leg of another, still shooting the ork with his pistol, his command squad fought back, they wouldn't die easily. A larger ork came in front of Nemhad, a huge claw held high. Nemhad reacted quicker, and plunged his sabre up to the hilt through the orks head. The head blow open, Nemhad got covered in blood. This drove his men on to greater acts and demoralised the orks. But still the 65th were hard pressed and were losing many numbers. Nemhad hoped that Aesclius had a plan. Aesclius ordered Gaius' assault squad to head towards the big huge fan, where the large amount of fire was coming from. But when they got there no one was there. “Sir they've gone,” came the message “Damn it, blow up the fan and re-join the fight!” Aesclius called back impaling another ork with his spear. Then a loud whine drowned out the sound of the battle. Aesclius looked up and he saw a poorly built jagged edged aircraft lifting out of the camp. Some orks jumped onto a flimsy ladder and climbed into the craft. Aesclius now knew where the hail of fire had gone. He cursed and then crushed the remaining orks. The battle was over but now Aesclius had to leave to finish the war. Nemhad was worried, some of the orks had escaped and Aesclius wasn't happy. And when a space Marine is annoyed you don't want to be near. Aesclius had demanded an audience with Nemhad as soon as he got back to the central plaza. Nemhad wasn't sure what Aesclius wanted but had to be something about the ork's that were still alive. He had been in his office for about ½ an hour now and Aesclius hadn't appeared. But still he waited. And then about 10 minutes later Aesclius appeared. “We must take our leave now,” Aesclius said bluntly. “W.. ww.. Why?” Nemhad stammered back “Those ork's can re-gain numbers very quickly, if they are not all wiped out then they will return, with strong numbers, and better tactics.” replied Aesclius. “But what about the planet?” asked Nemhad “I leave the defence of Javis to you and your Cadians,” answered Aesclius “You can't order by Regiment around Captain,” replied Nemhad crisply “Very well, if you wish to leave then you may, but if this planet is attacked I will blame the destruction of the planet upon you!” countered Aesclius. Nemhad shut up and just nodded. The 65th were great and they would defend the planet to the last man. “Now I want you to re-build the PDF here on Javis, if that wouldn't be too difficult,” “Will do Captain, may I ask Captain, how are you going to find the ork vessel? As I doubt that you would be able to find it in the warp.” asked Nemhad fearfully “That's is why we are better than you, you see I have attached a tracking beacon on to the hull of the ship, and knowing how stupid those greenskins are they'll never find it.” replied Aesclius “Now if you don't mind I have to take my leave.” “Very well Captain, Emperor Protects,” Nemhad made the aquila sign across his chest and with that Aesclius left. Flickzak had been fleeing the planet for hours now, he wondered why the hummies hadn't given chase. But at least he had escaped and had saved a few of the boyz as well. They would re-build this Waaaaagh! And then they would launch another assault on the world of Javis, as the hummies called it. And with Waaaaagh Flickzak da hummies wouldn't stand a chance, the amount of powa weapons he would make would be staggering. Da hummies wouldn't be able to cope. Flickzak schemed and schemed until he had his plan complete. Nothing would stop the orks now. All he had to do was safely get back to Pseudopol, and re build his army. Aesclius called for 3 Thunderhawks to enter Javis and pick up the Sons of Herakles. HE knew he didn't have much time. As soon as he knew everyone was on board he ordered the pilots to take of. As they exited the atmosphere Aesclius wondered about what the ork's were going to do but it was soon swept away as they boarded the Atlantis, and he marched up to the command deck. He marched up to Tuy the ships flight commander “Tuy, follow these co-ordinates,” he slipped the tracking console into the ship's mainframe. “Locking ship onto tracking beacon, full throttle,” answered Tuy's metallic voice from the ship. All Flight Commanders were attached to the ship itself they became almost part of the Machine Spirit. Aesclius felt the ship speed up. “Open warp generators, shut psychic blinds, cover windows, activate warp gate,” Tuy ordered. As the ship entered the warp Aesclius knew that the ork's would face the emperors vengeance. Aesclius turned to leave when Tuy spoke “Captain, shall I prepare for you to board or shall I prepare the laser batteries?” asked Tuy “Just be ready for anything Tuy,” and with that Aesclius left. He didn't know what the ork ship was like or where it was. So he had no idea what tactic he would be using. Aesclius hoped that it would be in open space where a boarding party could be sent, but knowing the ork's they probably left to find a planet of safety, so boarding might not be possible. He walked on and wondered how Nemhad was doing re-training a PDF for Javis. But little did he know Nemhad was lying in a pool of blood, ripped apart by the most hated enemy of the Sons of Herakles, T'zeencth. hope you like it the purging of Javis is good but thats really only the begginnning ;) i'll probbly get a good one at the end of the story knowing me :P see ya soon Athiair ^_^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/138649-no-title/#findComment-1631163 Share on other sites
Hrun the Blooded
i like the ending. one thing though. when orks die they release thousands of spores which grow into more orks. the Sons of Herakles just abandoned a cadian regiment to take on thousands of savage orks ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/138649-no-title/#findComment-1631453 Share on other sites

Custodian Athiair
next installment not that exciting but the next one might (hopefully) blow yuor mind wide open ;) Flickzak looked over the controls of his ship. The grimy lights blinked at him telling him everything was in order. As they flew towards Pseudopol, he wondered how the boyz were doing, most probably healing their wounds, and praising Gork or Mork for their rescue. That made Flickzak proud for now the boyz would trust him. Then Flickzak looked at the hull scanner, it was built to find any tracking devices left by the enemy. And it had found something, a very small but very powerful transmitter, it was almost undetectable. And yet Flickzak had found it. The hummies must of put it there to find him, he decided to leave it, it would give the boyz a chance to regain their honour. Everything was good. Officer Jokof marched through the ranks of the summoned inhabitants of Javis. These men and boys would be the new Defence force of Javis, Jokof didn't have much hope. “You men will be trained hard, and pushed to your limits, you shall defend your planet till your last drop of blood, do you understand me!” blared Jokof “Yes sir,” came the reply “Good now, get going!” the civilians quickly moved away towards their designated areas. Jokof marched of to find Nemhad and inform him about how the training was going. Jokof hadn't heard anything from Nemhad from the point the Astartes left. He hoped he was ok, he presumed that he was musing over training plans for the new recruits. He briskly marched towards Nemhad's office. He rapped on the door sharply, he got no reply. He knocked again, again no reply. After waiting another few minutes Jokof kicked in the door and bashed his way in las pistol at the ready. He quickly noticed no one was in the room, he lowered his pistol. Then he saw a small line of blood from behind the desk, he cautiously walked towards the desk and brought up his pistol. Then he froze. His pistol dropped. Aesclius paced up and down his room, how long would it take, then suddenly the warning sirens went of. He ran up to the bridge, and stared out into space. They had found them. “Captain, enemy sighted orders?” Tuy's metallic voice came out. “Scan the enemy ship, I want weapon systems and everything,” replied Aesclius “Scanning now,” After a few moments Tuy spoke “Sir, there are a few laser batteries but nothing more dangerous, it seems most things are scrap,” Tuy spoke “No shields, not highly protective armour plating.” “Fire missile pods, to open a hole in the ship, then launch the assault pods, will take this to them the old fashioned way,” Aesclius spat out, and spun towards the launching pods. “Send out the message.” Aesclius now had the chance to destroy this ork waaaaagh once and for all, the launching siren went of, the call for the terminators rang out. After the Blood Angels success with Terminators in space now most chapter used the same tactic, but Aesclius wasn't going to miss this opportunity. Flickzak was panicking lights and sirens were going off all around the ship, the enemy had arrived. He sent out the call for all boyz to prepare for assault but what he had expected was for the enemy to fire a huge salvo of missiles which ripped a huge hole in the side of the ship. He looked out of the ship and saw multiple green bloated bodies floating out in the vacuum of space, at least some were still alive. Then he saw the multiple darts launched out of the huge mass of the hummies ship, heading straight for him. He hoped the boyz would force the invaders back and then they could limp back to Pseudopol, and re-start his Waaaaagh! The darts hit unloading the enemy onto his ship, now the battle begun. The Battle for Pseudopol had begun. And Flickzak knew he might not win. Aesclius stormed out of his craft, his armour sealed, no orks had appeared. Aesclius marched with grim determination the orks would die. hope you like it Athiair <_< Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/138649-no-title/#findComment-1634886 Share on other sites

Custodian Athiair
next 3 enstallments hope you like it (DEMONS!!!!!) “MANDRAS!” shouted Jokof. He had picked up Nemhad's obliterated remains, and was carrying them towards medical. Nemhad was long since dead, but Jokof's instinct was to get him to the med bay. “Yes, Jok...” Mandras stopped dead as he saw Nemhad's burst carcass in Jokof's arms. “Don't tell anyone we keep it shut until the recruits are ready, I don't want a riot,” he puffed as he ran. He couldn't risk the 65th panicking, especially with the new recruits being trained. “Agreed, you will take command?” asked Mandras as he ran with Jokof. “I will, I'm the highest ranking officer, now get him to the med bay, but make sure they keep it under wraps,” Jokof handed over the body and then marched out to the courtyard. This was worrying how had gone into Nemhad's office and how had they ripped his body almost in half. This was getting weird. Still Jokof couldn't tell his men, he had to remain calm. Everything would sort itself out, he hoped. “Die! You foul stench on the face of humanity,” cried Aesclius he impaled another ork with his spear. The ork's weren't trained in the art of ship fighting. This was too easy for the Sons. “Calling all Sons what is your status?” Aesclius sent over the vox. “Squad Kiln reporting, we haven't met much resistance.” “Veteran Squad Royila, little resistance, orders?” the reports came in one after the other, the orks weren't prepared for ship fighting. This was too easy. But it didn't bother Aesclius as long as the orks were killed he would be able to rest. He strode on towards the command deck. “Flickzak,” murmured Wackvoch. Wackvoch was a Wierdboy, he was a psyker. Even though all orks are partly psychic, Wackvoch was more attuned. “Yes Wackvoch,” asked Flickzak “I see death,” Wackvoch began “Yes we are under attack at the moment,” shot Flickzak. “No, I see blood and power, pink and confusion,” answered Wackvoch “What does this mean?” “I know not,” answered Wackvoch “Very well, thank you,” Flickzak turned and went back to his controls. That didn't sound too good, but what was he going to do. He hoped that the boyz could hold of the hummies long enough for Flickzak to call the other orks. Aesclius parried a crude axe and then smacked the ork with his spear. His squad were ploughing through the poorly prepared orks with ease. Ork bodies littered the hallway, holes through their bodies. “So far so good,” Aesclius spoke to no one in particular. They were close to the command bridge “Keep moving we're almost there.” Aesclius ran onwards. His men followed him, it wasn't long before they came to a huge set of blast doors. “They're a bit rusty but strong none the less,” spoke Sgt. Kild. “Do you think you can break it open?” asked Aesclius. Kild was a great hacker, he would have made a great Techmarine, but he decided against going to Mars he wanted to be a normal marine. Kild moved over to the door panel, and set to work. “I want a secure perimeter, spread out.” The squad moved out around the room, covering every angle. “Sir I'm in,” Kild turned towards Aesclius. “That was quick,” “With all due respect sir, they are orks,” replied Kild “Fair, anyway, squad return.” Aesclius sent out over the vox, quickly his squad returned. “Load weapons, ready punch it! For Herakles and the Emperor Charge!” the squad stormed into the room. Bolt shells punched into, the controls shattering them and rendering them useless. Then Aesclius stopped he saw the huge big bird like being filling the room. And a gibbering scribe floating next to it. “T'zeencth!” spat Aesclius through his teeth “Welcome, the Offspring of Herakles, today you die!” mocked the demon “I don't think so!” Jokof marched between the recruits, they had all been given their uniforms, and had been drilled. All that remained was firing, they had not been given their lasguns yet, but that was why Jokof was there, he was the officer in charge of weapons, well now he was officer in command, he was the only one who could hand out weapons. “As soon as you are given your weapon, move back to your billet, an when your entire platoon has arrived you shall head to the firing range.” barked Jokof “The Imperial Guard are proud of it's shooting drills, so I want you to train until, you are a unit, every shot must hit, every shot must miss friendlies. Do I make myself clear?” “Sir, Yes, Sir!” came the reply “Good now 1 platoon at a time,” Jokof marched back to the armoury. As the other platoons followed, he wondered why the Space Marines had asked for a new PDF so quickly, but he cared not he obeyed his orders to the letter, and that was what he would do, even though now he was in command. “1st Platoon!” Jokof called out and the first men marched up to collect their lasguns, he hoped his men would train them well. He passed out the weapons. It was going to be a long few days. Aesclius charged into the Lord of Change, he was full of hate and fury. It was one of these that had taken the great Herakles from the chapter. It was every captain quest to fell one of these demons in combat. “Die!” Aesclius threw his spear directly at the demons head, his aim was true and it embedded itself in the beast's head. The demon screamed in pain. He'd hit a nerve, he drew his sword, death or glory. He leapt at the demon, slicing at it's arm, a huge gash appeared but no blood. “Helpless human, you know nothing of me, and that is why you shall die!” spat the demon “Well you know nothing of me, and that shall be your downfall!” Aesclius kicked the demon in the head, knocking the spear in deeper. The demon roared, and brought it's huge great staff down upon Aesclius, he leapt on the staff and sliced the hand, trying the disarm his enemy. All he succeeded in doing was slicing a long finger of the hand. “Pathetic!” mocked the demon. A huge ball of glowing energy smacked into Aesclius sending him flying across the room, and crashing against the wall. Painfully Aesclius got up, he felt his wounds healing over on his back. He got up and stabbed the demon in the foot, severing a toe, or what looked like a toe. Once again the demon swept it's staff at Aesclius, Aesclius brought up his sword and held the weapon of and sliced of the end. “My staff!” bellowed the demon. “I warned you,” “DIE!” screamed the demon, as it threw a black bolt of lightning at Aesclius, his armour absorbed the blow but still he was pushed back. Aesclius jumped back into the fray. Meanwhile Aesclius' squad was battling the Floating Scribe, it wasn't the best combatant but it's psychic powers were powerful, it kept pushing away the squad, burning them his unholy flame, smashing them against the wall with orbs of the Warp. “Men, this is hell,” yelled Kild “How are we meant to beat it?” asked Garth “I think it draws it's power from that” he pointed towards the Lord of Change. “If Aesclius could destroy it we might stand a chance, when I say all throw your spears at the greater demon, then carry on fighting the floating abomination!” “What do you mean,” panted Garth as he dodged another lightning bolt. “I'm helping Aesclius, NOW!” ordered Kild he threw his spear at the huge bird battling his Captain. And then he ran towards it following his spear, then leapt onto the beast's shoulder, and sunk his blade into the supposed muscle. “What,” screamed the demon “Boo!” spat Kild, as he withdrew his blade a sunk into the demons neck. The demon was writhing it had 6 spears embedded in it's body, and 2 blades hacking him to bits. “Hello what's this?” Kild leapt at a huge glowing crystal centred on the demons chest, sword first. “No not my crystal!” bellowed the demon. Kild plunged his sword into the crystal cracking it. “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!” screamed the demon. Before it sent a massive ball of power at Kild incinerating his body, which crashed to the floor. “Noooooooooo!” screamed Aesclius his best marine, was a smouldering pile of ash. “Now... You... DIE!” Aesclius leapt at the crystal, drew Kild's weapon and before the demon could react, he slammed both into the cracked crystal shattering it. “Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!” the demon vanished back to the foul place from whence it came. Aesclius , threw his shield at the hovering thing, slicing it's so called head clean of. It disappeared in a ball of blue smoke. Aesclius was mad. He stormed out of the control room. “Calling all squads, we have met demons, what about you!” called Aesclius. All the replies confirmed demon activity. “Bring the wrath of Herakles upon them, they shall die!” Even though Aesclius was unarmed he still was intent on bringing vengeance to the demons “Calling Ship Commander Tuy,” “Yes Captain,” came the metallic voice “Send over the reinforcements, we have demons!” yelled Aesclius as he punched a demon through the head. “Sending now” The demons would die. “Jokof!” called Mandras. “Yes, what is it?” asked Jokof “It's a call from the Atlantis,” answered Mandras “Put me through, Officer Jokof here, yes Captain,” Jokof spoke “I need to speak to Nemhad,” Aesclius was angry Jokof could tell “I'm sorry sir, he is un-available,” replied Jokof “I don't care, I have to talk to him!” Aesclius was getting angrier “Sir,” Jokof lowered his voice “Nemhad is dead his body was torn open by something,” “I know what,” “I'm sorry sir?” Jokof was stunned “Chaos!” came the reply “It's demons they are using the ork's a passage ways,” “With all due respect sir, all the ork's are dead here on Javis,” Jokof spoke clearly “The original ones,” “I'm sorry sir?” asked Jokof again “Not many know how the ork's grow, they are plants, every ork killed realises hundreds of spores which grow more orks, so right now in the crops and woodlands of Javis, are thousands of demon passageways. That's why I needed the new PDF up and running,” replied Aesclius “Sir, the PDF is just about ready, they aren't probably drilled but good enough,” Jokof replied proudly. “Good now get both the 65th and Javis' PDF ready for a demon assault, Aesclius out” the line cut, they were on their own. “Mandras! Send out the call, enemy assault inbound, everyone to the walls!” Jokof was nervous “Also did you get the Atlantis' vox code?” “Yes sir I did,” answered Mandras “Good now, I want them able to get on very quickly. Now go” Jokof armoured himself and gathered his command squad, now the true skill of the 65th would show through, not only in their own skill, but the PDF's skill as well. He wondered if the Space Marines had the ability to call the famous Grey Knights, Officer Nemhad's psyker could probably get the message to them. He ran of to find Nemhad's command squad's quarters. Thousands of demons not even the Sons were that good. He didn't have much time. Little did Jokof know Aesclius was way a head of him, the entire Pentekosty of the Ephor to his aid. One of the Chapter Masters of the Sons of Herakles was coming. The demons would taste vengeance. Unawares to even Aesclius the Grey Knight that had picked up his distress signal was the famous Brother Captain Stern, but he knew the Greater Demon. M'Kachen.
