ZsaZsaRasputin
@Cambrius - Ta mate - but if you look at the early stages, there's actually very little GS on the actual hammer itself - being composed mainly of old Assault marine weapons. I used a few chainsword/power axe bits along with some sprue to make it - I'm sure I could figure it out again if you want. In the meanwhile, here's some progress with the highlighting - getting there... http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l257/DanBoldy/R.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l257/DanBoldy/B.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l257/DanBoldy/L.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l257/DanBoldy/F-2.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/140351-thunder-hammer-guy/page/2/#findComment-1660063 Share on other sites
LucasLAD
excellent paint job, only critique is that you spent so much time making that hammer and it's very plain. Maybe some Ultra iconography or something? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/140351-thunder-hammer-guy/page/2/#findComment-1660303 Share on other sites
MmmmmFlamed'Nid
I don't really like the cloak, the rest is really good though. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/140351-thunder-hammer-guy/page/2/#findComment-1660417 Share on other sites
ZsaZsaRasputin
@LucasLad - Hmm - duly noted - ta @ FlamedNid - The shape or the colours or both? It was my first attempt at sculpting a cloak, and I'm still considering put some sort of decoration or embellishment on it. MmmmmFlamed'Nid
The red on the cape is great but the the cloth colour looks like it's gone on a bit thick. The shape seems fine, could have done with being bigger but I like it. ZsaZsaRasputin
Right I get you- I don't think its the thickness of the paint, but more just having used old Green stuff that turned out a bit lumpy :/ (I've been using milliput recently) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/140351-thunder-hammer-guy/page/2/#findComment-1660960 Share on other sites
