With Chicago a week away, here's what I have finished that is B&C appropriate:

40K Vehicle (this is an old model, and I'm entering it for the hell of it...it is not painted well enough to place):

The year long WIP blog can be found HERE, and includes much larger, and individual shots of each model from beginning to end.

40K Large is a vile xenos, and there is a WFB entry as well.

I hope you enjoy these, and I look forward to seeing you all in a week!

Hey there!

Those are really amazing! I always love your display bases, as they tell a great story, and give a real context to each mini in the squad. Vast Kudos to you ;)

We'll be seeing you there! I might be spending a lot of time once again in the art contest area to take solace in painting so that I can shut out all other worries ^_^

Otherwise, I will probably head over to the seminar rooms to hang out with Chris and Terry, etc. And get away from all the noise of the main room! Way too loud in there for our tastes.

Have a safe trip up here!

I love the Masters of the Chapter (I'm assuming that's what they are) and their display base. Combined with the words on the base it makes them seem very noble and reserved, like they have just been through the worst hellhole of a battle there ever was.

Looking forward to seeing them in person

Makes me wish I had taken this year's golden demons preparation seriously instead of taking a "year off".

Your open entry is my favorite, and the woprk on the base will pay off. Kudos for your courage on making this great squad base! I hope you knew goign in that technically it is not supposed to count at all for the squad entry's judgement... Does make the squad stand out a lot more though. I'm too lazy to make one up myself

Excellent work done in a very typical North American style, I'm convinced you'll de very well with them in Chicago ;)
