grats at GD Lunchbox <_<

it was incredible to see the mini's develop but to see them in real life was so much better... like seeing a famous artwork in person than in a book. you got some Demons right? sorry but i had to leave shortly before the awards were announced, but if i remember right you had placed in few catagories.

congrats again, and if i was wrong just delete this post ;)

Thanks everyone...I didn't realize I was meeting a bunch of B&C Brothers throughout the day...but then again, on only a few hours of sleep after a 17 hour drive, I was a bit loopy.

Also, I know Astador posted it somewhere, but my Librarian lept out of my hand like a scene from "The Forgotten"...the day before the Demons. It broke into 8 pieces total. I was able to somewhat repair it, and still squeaked out an honorable mention in single.

Hey there!

Congrats!!! Lots of shiny hardware for Lunchbox <_< Well deserved after many many hours of hard work.

The process of entring minis into the painting contest is almost as hazardous to the minis as a game of 40K... even with the improved cover saves. Maybe the Chaplain was attempting to "go to ground". I saw that happen a few times.... yikes!

Thanks for hanging out with us. Sorry I kept to the art contest area most of the day, but I needed that therapy :D

Congratulations once again!

Man, the competition was tough! The 40k single category was just scary. I was shocked that my Sqaut was even considered for the first cut. The open category was nuts! Anyway, congratulations, man. Your entries were all top shelf.

Nice job mate, all your entries were top-notch! My favorite entry of yours had to be the squigs!

Now I see why you seemed out of it the entire day, haha, I remember I saw you sleeping on the Team Montreal painting stand. Well at least the drive was well worth it. :(

Yeah...Astador and I stayed up 'til 4am working on last minute entries. I wish you had shaken me a bit so we could talk...I was on another planet...

...did the paint chip much?

:) yes...it did... ;)

This may sound horrible, but that is irony at its finest. I'm sorry to hear about it, though. He was a damn fine model. I haven't seen or heard anything about the competition there. Were there just a lot of good American painters, or did one of the European groups drop off?

It was mainly Americans...some Canadians, perhaps a sprinkling of Europeans...and a Mexican guy and his sone, who rocked the house with a couple of SWEET non-pa'd entries, earning gold in single, and youngbloods respectively.
