Painting: Imperial Castellans freehand chapter badge

1 : draw a black "v"

2 : on the right end of the "v" form, paint a half-heart form : this will figure the shoulder.

3 : on the left end, paint a rectangle, this will figure the hand.

4 : paint the blade and the hilt. To this step, don't bother the whole looks blurry.

5 & 6 : now you got to correct and separate the different parts of the arm (the blue lines).

7 : same for the sword, apply some correction for a better shape.

8 : last correction applied on the hand, the elbow and the shoulder.

 

So, I hope this helps you. Like I always say, practice it a couple of times before you start, so you'll get the correct moves.

Looks great! It would be cool to add more layers to it and make it kind of embossed. What color did you use?
