it will be between the two im going to say.

night lords iconographia thats being cast atm. and night lords blue armour. but with the orange trim.

So it will be All Night Hallowed GuardLords. haha.

i used to play twice a week there prior to my 2 year break, im just getting an army painted up now and once its done ill be back in one every two weeks or so. but i do pop in every couple of weeks for new glues and paints.

ok guys.

here we go finally a picture update.

I have now almost finished my two custom obliterators. This is the first time ive used GS to do more than gap fil so go easy on me now :D all i need to do is finish off the backs and add some detailing once the arms set.

I have got everything barring my final rhino built now, so once my paints arrive expect the updates to come thick and fast.

All my army is missing now is more troops, im addicted to 10 man CSM squads in a rhino with a khorne icon melta/flamer combo . 235 points of goodness ;)

C & C expected

FIXED NOW

The terminator lord is amazin to me, but the scythe just makes it look completely out of place. Even though its more sinister this way.... puttin more spikes where the scythe is at would make his more crude. Instead of slicin your foe, your smashin the spikes through his armor within his flesh and onto the ground hard. Just have this image in my head. Even better put an imperial gaurds men onto the spikes, like he got stuck onto the weapon and the lord did not have time to step on his face or body to pull out his trusted weapon.

My imagination is out there, cant help it.....

righteo guys, i haven't had many replies in here but i have got a new update including a painted tester model in this NL scheme, minus the gold trim which hasnt arrived yet.

the actual faces will have proper terror masks, not joker faces. and the mould lines will be refined, thsi is just a mini from my bitz box. the proper models will also be more detailed this is just to see how the colour comes out

i used the kikkala method but swapped reds for blues.

C&C anticipated and desired by you lovely people :o

mmmm...i know its a tester model...but take your time when you paint. Try using shades and layers of paint instead of just one or two goes at it. Should make the paint job a lot more...deep to say the least. Good conversion on the first model though. I do like your paint scheme, I just think if you want it to look remotely like what the picture shows you are going to have to learn some new tricks. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your progress.

Another Night Lords inspired army! I'll be keeping an eye on this in case there are any ideas I want to borrow.

One suggestion on the lightning would be to paint it in say three layers starting with a slightly lighter blue to the armour and working your way up to a blue-ish white working in thinner and thinner lines.

the amour has 6 layers too it already ? using the kikkalla method, i just dnt think its showing up on my pics.

i aws unsure if i wanted lightning or not with these night lords, and i am still undecided.

ill try to get some better pics of the armour up soon though.
