roullier1
hi, this is just a quicky regarding the vindicators dozer blade. sorry if this has already been brought up but i did a search and could not find a topic on this. i am making a scratch built rhino, razorback, vindicator but am having a problem with the details on the vindicator. on page 33 of the DA codex it states that the vindicator is routinely fitted with a heavy plough-shaped dozer blade, and i have never seen one without the blade attached, but on page 87 it says the blade costs 5 points if required. so the question is, do i really have to make a blade for the tank (so it matches every other vindicator i have ever seen and going by page 33), or is the blade an add-on and not essential if not wanted. and if the blade has to be added do i include it in the wargear for the tank or pay the mere 5 points (not that that bothers me) thanks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/141975-quick-query-about-vindicators/ Share on other sites

Imriel
The part about them being routinly fitted with one is just part of the Fluff description, and is in no way a rule. nighthawks
the Dozer Blade vehicle upgrade from the appropriate codex will describe the benefit of the kit - it helps you pass dangerous terrain tests for the vehicle. not a bad thing, and for 5 pts, and way-cool looking factor, worth it.
