First of all, Hello everyone!! absolutly great site.

Secondly, I've been dying to show you's the weapons i've been making, All have been made by hand out of wood (and a little bit of plactic and steel pipe here or there) The Bolter is made to human scale, as a space marine one was working out fairly large, the lasgun and Pulse rifle have been made to human scale as well, i hope you enjoy the pics, and if there is anything wrong with were i've started topic please let me know, i wasn't sure were to put it.

cheers!

**EDIT: Please keep images B&C appropriate**

there ya go, enjoy.

Honestly it took a good while to do each one, plans had to be drawn out (full size) i had to sort out a load of scales and measurment, then finding good material, then re-draw cause it looked all bloom wrong! nah just a bit of touching up, then the making of it, all in all i think 2 months for the Bolter that was the first one i did, alot of time was put in to it.

Are you sure you want to know??

Its latin for the holy Rosary , i know, i know, but it looked deadly

wow i presume the pulse rifle has been removed although i would like to see that

the bolter is amazing i think you should, hmmm how do i say this, not wheather the metal but add tones like you have on the wood and grip (on the ammo cip and barrel) they just look too much like block colour in those pics if you made it slightly darker in the recesses and toward where it meets the gun and lighter where it reaches the edges and furthest froim the gun then it will be perfect! now all you need is ammo

same goes for the lasrifle other than the handle all the colour seems to blocked and plain, also the hand grip is a little square but this may be the pictures

butr seriously these are amazing (admittedly with about 30 mins worth of careful paintjob they could look even more authentic) but still absolutely amazing

are those two green boxes ammo boxes!

make a detachable sight and sling strap for the bolter that would be sweet!

is this for university or commision? or hobby or job ect ect, they truely are proffessional looking

EDIT# is the lettering freehand or computerised? either way it is brilliant extra kudos to you!

Hello, thanks everyone, Yeah they got yanked :( , If you want to see a few pic's just pm me and i'll mail them to you. On the bolter i actually did try to put some tones into it, but they came out way to soft, i just couldn't seem to get them right, mind you it didn't help i haven't got a clue how to use the camara's settings (i can use a power saw table and nearly every tool in a workshop i get near but can't figure out a camara :HQ:) and it was as bright as hell today (for a first in Ireland :)) enough thinking of excuses, it was a lot harder to paint on such a larger scale, mind you i was thinking of getting an airbrush to see if i could make it better, a bit of practice first mind.

''are those two green boxes ammo boxes!'' Yes, yes they are :D i use them for holding my models in.

Lol I actually just started doing the scope yesterday, the bolter has a double ball catch locking system built in to it so the magazine can be click in and out, without any worry's of falling out, the c ocking arm on the side works, make a nice cashunk noise, and the lasgun's magazine magneticly locks in.

I wish it was for a job, i would kill to make prop's, i'm making an imperial guard soldiers outfit ( cadian) and a space marine helmet.

Cheers mate, no they were done on bought sides free hand, and a ruler to keep me straight.

Cheers again

Azrath.
