TheDarkOne
So under the new 5th ed Rules, can a rhino move 12", and have the guys inside fire out the firepoints? I know that for somehting liek a predator, moving 6" means 1 weapon of str 5 or more, and 12" means nothing. It is that 12" means nothing part that makes me question the ability of troops ina rhino firing out the fire points after the vehicle has moved 12". ComradeRed
You can still disembark and fire, which really doesn't make a lot of sense when you think about it.... Seahawk
Heh. You don't get to shoot if the rhino moves over 6", but if it moves 12" or less they can hop out and ALL can blaze away, rather than the two from the top hatch. Funny, ain't it. SpideyScott
maybe having a couple of troops popping out the top slows the vehicle down to much to go at cruising speed? Because of aerodynamics maybe?? You would think they would at least explain why lol. Cale
It's just a balancing mechanism--troops in tanks are no longer at a greater risk than troops out of tanks, so they want to make you expose your troops in order to get those "long range" rapid fire or melta shots.
